Ah okay, I figured it was a difference in rules. At this facility, the rules for blind firing are simple, if you cannot see the flight path of your BBs you are blind firing. In all cases, I have clear line of sight down my gun and can see the BBs hitting the wall the entire time.
It must be challenging to play where you are used to playing, being expected to first SEE with your eyes unable to shoot until the target presents itself and then fire your weapon.

I volunteered to call myself out to satisfy the player as he stayed in the game after being shot. The important thing is not to lose your cool during the game.
I thought that 10-foot rule only applied to guns shooting over the cqb limit, like 350 fps. It doesn't seem like too many people care where you shoot them or how close from what I've been watching but I also have never been to SCV especially if your using a 300 fps tri-shot shotgun.
Most say nothing about being shot at point blank, even with an AEG. I certainly accept being shot up close as part of the game (I have been shot up close MANY times). The players that usually complain about point blank shots are players that are not regulars at SC Village, and the reason for that is they actually follow the rules given in the morning and expect others to as well (there is nothing wrong with that) close range shooting is always a grey area at SCV,
Moola is correct, I let the fast(er) teammates run ahead while updating them with the approximate number of NMEs heading towards that direction. The way the field is setup right now, it makes it difficult to travel to that side after the game has began. Once you wipe out the NME on the net side, you basically control that entire side.
The player told me that I was too close to him when I shot him with the spring shotgun (triple barrel) so I asked if he wanted me to call myself out.

Love your videos, lol me and my friends were there the day after that day, 10/9/11. We also went on that same CQB field, lego land is it? and we all went pistols only. So how do you like your ATP, I was considering getting it.
This goes back to, working through any flaws in the opposition's security to get what you want done. That route I took was through no-mans land and I was fortunate to have the perfect situation allowing me to get through the wide open without even being seen/shot at. The result was a memorable spring shotgun show.
I'm not into rule lawyer-ing in the middle of a game, it takes away from the spirit of the game (shooting each other w/BBs) if he felt I was breaking any rules, I'll volunteer myself out and be more careful next time so nobody can complain about me.
Yea I think you were about 1-2 inches away from him, if he had a hand on his rifle's handguard you would have got the kill! If I wasn't ready you could have probably stabbed me too hahaha..
You should try this next time..... in that same situation... if you know a NME is there... go in guns blazing then stab as necessary. That way anybody covering also gets shot at before you start stabbing people... but I know you just want to stab people hahah.

If you guys show up on Saturday look for us, Scott, Ryan, John, French, Chris, etc and join the team we are on for good coordinated team play, and we will have more footage with you guys recording as well!
Spig spec mag is what appears to be a mix of: KWA 30 round magazine, KWA high cap, shotgun shell, and a dash of Spig, and glue. It REALLY balanced out the shotgun's shortcomings.
I always see you using that shotgun is that thing good? Also SCVIPER Next Sat you in for it?

It is a lighweight pistol, very ergonomic (great to handle), and is very accurate.
The Speedball field we played on is named, Legoland. How was your day out there?
