If I remember correctly, Jim Henson wanted to make the Muppets feel as real as possible..so instead of using like CGI (which was not created back then) or making it feel fake with like a Blue/Green Screen they simply had to build everything from scratch...today if we did that, it would cost a FORTUNE...hey, today we don't do that and movies still cost a FORTUNE to make.

Yes I agree. No matter how much I love Lady Holiday's character in this movie. She's so funny, but she is indeed a numbskull. I agree. lol. It is stupid of her to think that Miss Puggy took the necklace. Who would take it and pull it out to show the world? Stupid. lol. I don't see why she didn't expect Nicky taking it. He was the one who brought out the jacket to Miss Piggy. I'm guessing Lady Holiday was just wanting to arrest someone and get it over with so she doesn't have to worry anymore.

True, that could be the reason why she acted the way she did. She also could be in denial on thinking that her own brother that she loves and cares for could actually steal from her. Even though she pretty much does know what kind of person he actually is. I would have loved to see a scene where the police came to her telling her who really stoled the necklace and other jewels. I would love to see the look on her face. I do feel sort of sorry for her too. She may never get all her jewels back.

Also something else. She says to the reporters that she doesn't have the baseball diamond on her "person" (meaning self), but even if she did where would she wear it? lol. That thing is bigger than my fist. lol. She really can't wear it as a necklace or earrings or even a plain ring. She must just have bought that big thing because she could because she had the money and because she's obsesed with diamonds and such. That thought just dawned on me. lol. :D

One thing is because Diana Rigg (Lady Holiday) is british in real life and the actor who plays Nicky is American. And also because it would just make it even funnier if she does have a british accent and he doesn't. You never know Nicky could have went to college in the USA and picked up an American accent while being there. Sometimes that happens. Have you noticed that some of the Muppets that are from London have an American Southern accent? Thats funny. lol. :D
