Of concern as well is the MIB GROUP which exposes private medical records to background checks for employment. Also needing to be addressed are the charging practices of the doctors' and specialists' offices. We shouldn't have to be an insurance company to be concerned that a charge is sent to an insurance company when a patient steps in the door to say "hello" (barely an exxageration).
My Mom Patricia Rigney died because United Health Care was her insurance company. My Dad was put under incredible stress and fear of going bankrupt by their horrid business practices. All government run programs eventually fail , not a single one should still be in business. Even the money system has failed because governments can't help themselves by counterfeiting out of problems. That's why in a free market you have to have sound money otherwise you create fake economies that fail suddenly. AIG (private) shouldn't exist right it failed but government propped it up. (Bail out of a failed system). Disaster beyond measurement....

It's BETTER than private insurance because it will be GUARANTEED health ASSURANCE, not INSURANCE. You can buy all the HC insurance you want, but you'll likely be screwed, and you'll certainly know someone else who will be.

No one is speaking about all of the problems with the current health care system. All we are hearing about is the "Government option" which will do no one justice.
We need to focus on what's wrong and fix it, but no one wants to do that. Too much work. Much easier to destroy the current system and build over it.
