Hi there. I got up to the swamps i believe about 14 years ago but never played it since then. Whats the advantage of making Kiran a rogue using an arrow rather than just equip with swords ? i might try this game again

It's kinda cool when you move around in this game. It almost shows a motion blur effect. Even though it's just a screen refresh it gives me an idea for a technique! X]

I wouldn't say that the ranged weapons are useless. They are doing damage; if you see that after he fires, a hit registers on the enemy. The hits don't do nearly as much damage as melee weapons yet, and don't show damage indicators unfortunately.

If you don't improve your rogue to level 5 your efforts to reach castle cimmeria are revered pointless because you can't open some of the doors...yes it happened to me grrrr.

I Just saw all the videos to this point and i´m still asking myself why you decided to use the bow. The bow allways fails and you could review you're own videos to see it.

It seems melee weapons give fighter ranks while ranged weapons give rogue ranks. He's trying to train rouge skill, so that's why he's using ranged weapons now, even though they're useless in combat so far. He said he would be doing this in one of the first vids.

it's just that first initial wave of orcs then the numbers tailor down. annoying yes, but fun nonetheless.

Man, I was just training up my Rogue skills, not even using Bacatta and just running away throwin my stars. I got level 3 Rogue now so I'm happy :)

Well at least it seems to hit more accurately than the bow and it's faster so it's better for training rogue skills
