If I needed to buy a software package, this video would've turned me off from expert village. There's a lot more to developing characters than Tony is telling us or seems to know.

Using Celtx, go to Master Catalog and click Add > Character and add the description, age, hair color, traits, background, etc. Do not create a character the way Tony shows you.

How do you let the audience know about a characters accent? Aside from dialouge the way your character speaks, would an accent have to be include under the character name or somewhere?

If a character has an accent, it would be a part of the character's description along with any other notable traits.

To anyone who wants to use Celtx: I have downloaded it and tried to use it, yet I could never open the program. The only software to download that I have used that works for me is called Sophocles. I am used to sophocles and I recommend it because it has worked wonders for me, but the downside is that the program costs $120. The other upside is that it has an indefinite trial period, yay!By the way, was there something wrong with my computer when I couldn't open Celtx, or is it a common problem?
