Surveying is pretty fun, once u get the hang of it. The problem now is that all these new "surveyors" know is how to push buttons, their calculator breaks in the field they go back to the office cause they don't know how to do the math the long. They probably don't even know what a bearing is.

I'm sure you folks do love this job. I just got en estimate for $1,400 to map 20 acres. I almost signed the contract. I got off my butt, found the markers myself and saved some bucks.
