Well im a freshman just started player football and i weight 320 and i run a 6'2. I only bench 275. Which is not good enough cuz i have to bench more than my own weight. I am also 6'2. I drop about 40 pounds since being on the football team and i feel in shape. The coach said i am making progress and i just need to keep working
hah im a sophmore 6'6 310 and i run a 4:96 40..12 solo sacks. 23 tackles and 3 rushing touch downs! i put up 310 bench and 545 squat. someday ill be on this list!
best pos. to play in football if you ask me...so easy to get tackles and sacks...but its still fun...especially when you go up against a running back thats 5 inches shorter than you, and weighs 90-100 pounds less than you and they try to run you over...
It's not "so easy" to make tackles. Most defensive lineman have trouble gaining up to 60+ tackles a year. It is fun though, I must admit. I'm probably the smallest defensive lineman in the history of smallest defensive lineman though. Freshman football @ 5'2" and 130 lbs, but I lead the district with sacks & solo tackles.
ehh, well being smaller is easier, not for getting tackles but getting through the line...you can shoot the gaps alot faster and its just a pain for taller players to line up accross a smaller player on the line...but i do credit you for the sacks and solo tackles..because some backs and qbs are just fucking huge haha
haha damnnn our varsity qb is about 6' 2 maybe 3 about 175-185 and on the first day of pads we did a hitting drill and i was on o and he was on d and he just loved to hit me...haha ive never seen him run that fast..
