  • Actually a good show all the way around...way to go Captain!

  • Can I love you, Captain? Godddddddddd.....

  • Cheers Cap, i enjoyed that and the history.

  • Really enjoyed the Captain`s enthusiasm and manner, would make a great presenter !

He has been a sort of hero of mine since 1976 and I met him in Camberly last year-a great bloke !

  • He kindly extinguished me with a fire hydrant on stage at the Marquee with the Doctors of Madness in 1977 - lovely chap

  • I saw him shove a carrot up his arse once.... how times change !

  • The Captains a great Guy..Hey Rob leeming!! He has your jumper on!! Did he pinch it off you at the Goth Fest at Whitby!!!.......

  • jesus...I wish I hadn't watched this...like your dad trying to be witty and subversive whilst still sucking it up to earn the money..not I deny the captain that..just doubly weird!

  • OK folks, you are trying to make the reporter look cool, well wearing a leather jacket like that, cheap ' wanna be' forget it!!! At least supply him with the correct gear!

  • @Beboparina That 'cheap wannabe' is the first punk band of all time's (The Damned) guitarist Captain Sensible, you fucking sod. Nobody would be wearing cheap leather jackets w/o him! Read the description before you spout off your dumb mouth.

  • @postyesterdayman i think the ramones were the first punk band, the damned were the first british punk band to put out a record

  • @Beboparina so to you wearing the "correct gear" = not being a 'wanna be'?

    perfect.

spoken like a true "wanna be."

  • Have we ever seen the Captain and Paul O'Grady in the same room? I think not!

  • @jamesgreenfield !!!! I was just going to post a comment a long the lines of "Is he a long lost relative of Paul O'Grady?" and then I scrolled down and saw your comment. He reminds me of P'O G, when he struggles to get out of the train at 2.41.

  • enjoyed that a lot.

  • This is a very good documentary. This is very enlightening. Sincerely, Skianbeerfist

  • Cappy... I would love a tour! Can't wait to see you sing, play and see your antics again in 2011. See you soon? C.J.

  • Better than Portillo's cack handed efforts. Give the Captain a TV series.

  • @Stereovaccine Yeah, he's got the personality. Wouldn't be surprised if he'd his own train set too.

  • Well as musical train buffs go I prefer the Captains music to Pete Watermans! ;-)

  • A lot easier than supporting motorhead, which is what I've been doing lately :)

  • Hero...

  • awesome. would love to travel through England in mini trains with the Captain whispering interesting historical facts into my ear!

  • Love it.

  • What a Duff!
