That's actually a bit of camera trickery. Really it's two separate crashes which I strung together in my video editor.

I've forgotten, I haven't played on MSTS in absolutely ages. All I remember is that it's a desert route, it may be the Full Bucket Line or San Diego and Arizona Railway.

No that's the name of one of the activities I used. The route with the plane flying overhead is the albula line, there is a hidden track at the bottom end of the line which disappears into the ground and then goes off a big ramp.

You could make the wagons lighter and give more power to the trains, also make the speed limiter much higher. You can do this by editing the .ENG and .WAG files with a normal text editor and changing the existing values.

You can't get Microsoft Train Simulator for free. Most of the third party add-ons are free though.

MSTS comes with it's own set of tools for route creation. Start Microsoft Train Simulator Editors and Tools and Route Editor will show up on the menu that appears after. There are some tutorials on train-sim(dot)com, go to the site map and under Microsoft Train Simulator you will find 'how to...' near the bottom there is a link called 'How To...Use The Route Editor--A Pictorial Tutorial' this will gide you through the process of making a route.

Megacoaster is where most of the crashes were performed but there was also the NEC, albula line, Odakyu Odawara Line and Innsbruck -- St. Anton.

MSTS is quite old (almost windows 98 era) so you don't need very high specs to play it but obviously the higher you're specs then the faster everything goes.

Ok what is the actual problem. If your trying to open the file make sure your opening it with the right tool if it's a .rar file you need winrar to open it, the best thing about that tool is that it can open .zips aswell.

If you've opened it but don't know where to put it then all you have to do is take the 'MegaCoaster' folder and put it into the 'ROUTES' folder which can be found in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator.

Sorry there was a mistake in the address i gave you it's train-sim(dot)com. when you get there you will see a link to the left that says file library, go in there and read the instructions. if you try to log in and it says 'All nodes are busy' then come back later.

What is wrong with the site? if it says that 'all nodes are currently busy' then you will just have to keep trying until there is enough free bandwidth on their site. just keep trying every now and then and eventually you will get in.
