Well it is a concept album so there are themes revisited but there are too many similar sounding riffs that just 'chugg'' through the tracks. But the bass and singer are the main focal point of this band anyways.

well i agree that the guitar is very chugg bassed for the verses and stuff but he does do alot of great lead work. and ya best bassist ive ever heard.

After listening many times to this album and CM's Isolate, I concluded that this is the superior of the two albums. Isolate was amazing and instrumentally awesome - especially Mats' guitar work - but this album is simply unforgettable. Beyond musical ingenuity and melody, the entire album is emotional on a whole deeper level. This album squeezes emotion out of every turn and twist.

Not to say I don't love CM, but this album is easily the best album in many years.

Ibanez RBXJM or RBXJM2, I can't tell the difference but one of the John Myung signatures.

Bass playing is awesome. I wish John Myung did more stuff like this. And we all know he can. I notice their Symphony X influence AKA The Drums and Rhythm keep matching for the most part syndrome. Other than that SW & Mercy Falls is great.

This is one of the best albums I've heard in a long time. The new circus maximus album is absolutely incredible as well. Reminds me of how blown away I was when I heard Images and Words. I just hope they can keep it going.
