umm excuse me but how many horses? and how much did the motor cost? i have a 99 single cab 5.2 l it sucks on gas and power it holds its own for what it is but im a die hard gearhead chevy builder and its no match for my 454 in my silverado but it is built too so....
My mom has a 97 Ram 1500.. 5.9, Auto, 2wd with AC... It seems to be a good truck... The idle drops though... I replaced the idle air control valve and throttle position sensor... It helped a decent bit... It doesn't drop near as much now but still does sometimes... Yours sounds good... So if you have any advice... I could use it... I'm about to give up on it...

It's a Reflexxions Domination Series Steel Cowl Hood. Sold everywhere, just look in Truckin Magazine most of the big vendors in there can get you one. The bumper is a Race Truck Trends bumper cover. Go to their site and click on the Dodge button, my truck is shown there along with a few others.
You wouldnt want to pay what it's worth to me, plus Ive already bought a stock engine to put back in it so I can give the truck to my dad to use as a farm truck. Got the truck positioned a couple weeks ago, but havent had time to pull the engine with the weather going bad on me now.

I never run it in the morning or late evening hours just for respect of my neighbors. The ones that would care are at work when I do start it. The truck hasnt been driven in years though so it's really a non-issue lol. As for open headers, it doesnt really add any HP, it just allows the engine to produce a bit more of its POTENTIAL HP from mid to high range rpm. It will reduce some low end torque though, lots of physics to explain why but ultimately thats the result.
Yeah she's clean. It's been repainted by me even though the original paint was pretty damn good. The body is top notch, never wrecked, only one small ding in the passenger side of the bed. When I get it back to stock and I get time, Im going to strip the truck down totally and re-paint it one last time.
hey, dont feel bad, at least you admitted it. Open headers means no exhaust at all. Its a set of headers, which in this case, replace the stock exhaust manifold, and have no pipes connected to them at all.

u need to get ur heads hi po'd. get a high lift camshaft and a big ol throttle body. flat top pistons. headers. the works. it costs alotta money workin on cars. and ppl will try to put u down. but just set ur mind and ull get r done
