This August, they're having try-outs for Sweeney Todd at the Harbor Playhouse and I've already ordered a script so I can get the jump on practicing so I can get a part in it. Been practicing since last year because I was also in the school production up until the first show. Right before that, I was kicked out even though I knew my part VERY well. I just saw it today, for the very first time. I usually don't lke horror movies, I am extremely squeamish, but I made an exception for Sweeney Todd. To my surprise, I was actually able to love at it, and not feel scared. The gore wasn't really bad at all, not at all like I thought it would be. I reccomend it, even for the squeamish people, just like me. :)

It was a great movie. Johnny Depp played his role very well. Ms. Lovett and the little boy kinda reminded me of the characters Nancy and Oliver Twist. The blood and gore wasn't too bad but the judges' bodyguard made me wanna puke. He looked and sounded so disgusting.

sweeney is quite violent when he attacks 2 people but the blood looks really fake and you dont see any guts or anything. if uve seen sleepy hollow its no worse than that and sleepy hollow is a 15. so i think this movie should be a 15. out of 10 (for me) on the disgusting side about 4

no there wasn't, it was a novel but it scared people egnough for there to be no pie or barber shops together in london.

it is an awesome movie :D i recommend u see it, its quite funny really and the gore is fake looking if ur worried about that at all ;)

It was a great movie! I love the Helen and Johnny combo. They work so great together! and then of course at one point i was like.. "OMG It's Snape and Wormtail Ahhhhh!
