It's the one for Dreamcast, you could unlock stages and fighters but it was hard as hell.

Man tyhe dreamcast had stage openings!! PS1 didn't but it had all the stages and the characters except Akuma, Evil Ryu, and that girl with the bats(i forgot her name), but the bosses like M.Bison and Geese were hard to fight

Yeah, it only played the PS1 version, it shocked me to see the bird thing O.o

But PS1 DID have those characters, I remember unlocking each one.

I tried out the Dreamcast version on an emulator and even though there's a FEW differences, it's miles better in my opinion.

what i didn't like was the 4 button controls. Who wants to do d/f+FP or FK to get a Medium punch or Kick? its stupid.

I would love to see this game remade, but with just one adjusment...a parrying option! I love this game.

Yeah, but the game engine changed...for the worse...and I would like a parrying very similar in timing to the parrying from Street Fighter 3: Third Strike. You know what bites? Street Fighter 4 has no parrying option. Bummer...
