It begins on Sept 20. Hmm...there was an unintentional connection there between the Time In A Bottle reference and the date. It was the date of the infamous KIng/Riggs tennis match-but also the day Jim Croce. singer/writer of Time In A Bottle died.
I loved this tv show,, I graduated highschool in 1987. I watched this entire series, I missed the 1969 and the first part of this 1973 year.. I still have these shows on VHS tape. It should have not be cancelled... Yes, the Cosby show was higher rated, but this show was way more Important to recounting our history... It should be aired on the History Channel.... Thank you for uploading it. I have always loved History, and Biographies..
@staytunedfor: About a year ago I got a bunch of episodes on beta tapes (about all of them, but this one.) This show was so superior to the Cosby Show juggernaut. I was in the first grade in the fall of 1973 and I remember watching the NBC newscast of Agnew resigning, the Mets, and the war footage from the Middle East. It was quite an eventful couple of months in that fall.

It was either this, or test patterns. That's how dominant NBC's Thursday-night sked was in the late 1980s.

This was a wonderful series. I looked forward to Thursday nights when these were on.

This was such a great series ... I have several episodes on vhs. But up against The Cosby Show, it was doomed.

Nice hair on Bill Bonds. Looks like Donny Osmond.
