Nice place, nice weather! Isn´t the laminar airflow the main reason to prevent some (most?) of the pilots from catching a frontal collapse while twisting out. It looks quite cool but I like it more safe. The guy at 5:00 is my clear favourite, because he really could stop the launch at any point in time (4:10 is my second coice). Thanks for the studies!
Met a couple of Kiwis {if that's offensive I respectfully apologize} at the Reno Air Races last week. Great people and had a few laughs and learned the correct pronunciation of Te Mata Point.
Not much room for error on that launching site! WOW! nice views. Love the landing @ 7.54 Lol. Nice top landing and brake control @ 8.50. I would have expected rotor there seing as the wind was side on over the back? Gr8 vid. Cheers Eugene Ireland
