I'm a highschool student kinda stuck on making algae oil how do you filter the algae or isolate it from the water culture so you can dry it? If anyone cane help me that'd be great thank you
at first look i thought the algae oil was honey.it is fantastic how clear it is,I thought it would have been more of a greenish color to it .what do you have to add to it so it will be able to run in a diesel motor?or is it straight up ready like some people use used cooking oil to run their motors? sorry for the questions i have been interested in this for years!!
What species of the algae you got the oil from? To get algae oil like in the left bottle, did you only press the biomass? Are there any other processes afterward?
There's lots of stuff out there touting algae oil without actually producing anything. It is very refreshing to see someone actually doing this on a semi-industrial scale. Good work and thank you!

Can this be distilled like petroleum to make gasoline?

@platinum243125 its burned as diesel ... there is no reason to convert it to be burned in a gasoline motor...
