@Euroland07 convinced the heck out of me and all my friends... and they're all Americans from the south where I've been living for over a decade. i was honestly surprised to find out he's British!

now if only most Americans would do as good a job with British accents they'd stop embarrassing themselves so much on the big screen...

@CanadianFH Englishmen (and women) and Aussies seem to be quite adept at doing Southern US accents. Like Ryan Kwanten and Stephen Moyer in "True Blood". I think the twang is somewhat similar.

I'm not a fan of zombie stories, but The Walking Dead is amazing. He's one of my new favorite actors. I didn't even realize this was the same guy from Love Actually. He seems to be quite versatile.

This guy is playing Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead. It's a US TV series being directed by Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption) it's about a small town sheriff protecting his son and a group of followers as they struggle to survive against a zombie apocalypse.
