  • LOL pictures of spirits...... how fucking retarded are humans?

  • I don't believe in any sort of superstition other than astrology, im atheist, don't believe in ghosts or physics at all but i do believe in atrology, not all of it, i don't believe it's the movements of planets and all that shit but there is truth in the belief, most of it is bullshit but the star signs itself isnt plus you've got to remember that everyone is indevidual and is made up of all sorts of star signs, astrology is about personality not foreseeing the future and shit thats horoscopes-

  • @CounrtyGirl479 which are completely false, horoscopes are made by superstitious frauds

  • @CounrtyGirl479 Not all frauds are superstitious, but the fraudulent service they offer is always marketed to the superstitious.

  • WHAT PART IS 0:41 from? it sounds interesting

  • wow....was that a nut fair of what! Crack pots superstitions.

  • Part 2 is blocked due to copyright grounds by channel 4. Channel 4 struck me as progressive through most of my childhood, but I guess things change.

  • numyo ho rengay kyo numyo ho rengay kyo numyo ho rengay kyo numyo ho rengay kyo numyo ho rengay kyo numyo ho rengay kyo numyo ho rengay kyo numyo ho rengay kyo numyo ho rengay kyo numyo ho rengay kyo numyo ho rengay kyo numyo ho rengay kyo numyo ho rengay kyo numyo ho rengay kyo numyo ho rengay kyo numyo ho rengay kyo numyo ho rengay kyo numyo ho rengay kyo numyo ho rengay kyo numyo ho rengay kyo

  • Richard Dawkins is a hero.

  • 5:17

if you were such a good leader, why do you follow so blindly?

  • I don't dress women, I undress them.

  • Shredding on the flute.

  • "I'm your ho, rengae-cho"

Lmao... Even in this age of certainty, we still have people regressing back into superstition. It is disppointing but thanks to people like richard dawkins, there is still hope for a better future:)

  • "Namyei Ho Rengei Ko" I think these guys at the beginning have been playing too much Abe's Odyssey! lol

  • @CowLunch They're trying to possess a slig ;)

  • why is he going after astrology? i look at my horoscope but its not like i give any meaning to it. i just do it for fun.

    p.s. LIBRAS ARE AWESOME

  • @gat0rgirl13 He doesnt have a problem with people reading it for amusement but there are people that believe that stuff & make major life decisions based on it. It becomes a problem if someone were to cash out their retirement or something because the stars said financial problems ahead. It can deeply effect people that believe. What if someone gets divorced & breaks up a family because some horoscope said pices isn't compatible with libra? I know that's a stretch but it does effect some people

  • Im not religious bit this dudes a fuckin idiot

  • @elijahdarydah you might want to learn to speak and type proper English before calling someone a fucking idiot.

  • @elijahdarydah In which way is he an idiot? You have to at least give us some pointers to debate or are you just a non thinking human being who has nothing better to do (troll) ?

  • why doesn't this guy quit bitchin about religion and do something to help about it? he just seems to be a pissy guy that needs a good friend to tell'em to get a life.

  • @kellygene55 And you're telling a guy he's a loser, when you can't even talk to him personally.

He is raising awareness; it shouldn't be hard to notice that.

  • @kellygene55 The only thing TO do is educate and raise consciousness - exactly what he is doing.

  • @Serraphas3 unfortunatly kellygene55 is still not listening.

  • @kellygene55 i see that you have no idea that Richard Dawkins is a well respected biologist and scientist.

  • hes just sitting there, lol.. umm joe labajoooo... LOL

  • @intentdrive Greed in America??? Wut??? Derp??? KZilsard???

  • yea, it's all about money

  • seeing Dawkins with those chanting weirdos was actually pretty funny. They're stuck in some kind of trance and Dawkins' is like "Get me the f*ck outta here"

  • I have always considered Astrology, horoscope's, Taro readings etc. to be for entertainment purposes only and for fun. I think a lot of other people that partake in these things, share the same opinion. I have never meet anyone that actually believes this shit and they all know it's just for fun. Though I suppose the person giving the Taro reading probably does believe it, sad day for them, but fun for me even at a price, that's why it's called entertainment. Just a thought :\

  • @MissKatetastic Being a sucker shouldn't be fun, and people who think it is are dopes.

  • @thewarriorsrok Who are you referring to as the 'sucker', the person having their fortune told or the person that actually believes it? What about if you walk into the activity knowing it's not real but you just want to be entertained or have fun? So what you never talked to a fortune teller for shits and gigs? Right there, that's its value, entertainment, fun. You would only be a sucker in that situation if you were to actually believe what the fortune teller said and you acted upon it.

  • @MissKatetastic You're a sucker because you're spending money and time on something that's fucking worthless. If you know it's for "shits and gigs", then save yourself some time and just throw your money into a sewer. I mean really, do you think you're impressing me by knowingly wasting your cash on charlatans even though you know what they are? You might be a bigger dipshit than the people who don't know better, at least they have ignorance as an excuse.

  • @thewarriorsrok I see no difference in this than say going to a movie vs. waiting for it to come out on video and buying it, or going to a casino and walking out empty handed, you could just as easily save yourself some time with both of those examples and throw your money into the sewer. You should really think about what your going to say before you go hurling insults at others. Calling me a sucker and a dipshit is just rude, not once did I insult you good sir, I only asked questions.

  • Richard Dawkins take a bow.

  • Astrology...so dumb even religous people laugh at it......but a great way to find stupid chicks!

  • Richard plays the flute like a navajo chief!

  • Love how awkward it must have been for Richard to sit through gibberish chanting.

He looks just like I do when forced to sit through church. >.>

  • It's like watching Jaws circle a hapless swimmer. You know its coming.

  • but astrology's such a good way to pick up chicks :(

  • no joke...he's just trolling^^

  • No joke! The 'joke' is on you.

  • I'll assume the comment below mine is a joke and move on... =/

  • What Dawkins fails to realize is that thought is substance and just like matter it can be used for good or ill. Astrology used in the right way can provide very useful information for self awareness and a deeper understanding of ones' inner self and insight into historical events.Astrology has been of tremendous help to me.This one sided presentation is more like Dawkins' Enema of Reason!

  • @kendalwin1 Clap you hands if you believe in fairies! It's "one-sided" because there is only one side that is real. The other side is superstitious nonsense.

  • Superstition requires little effort and promises keen reward.

  • well, im not into this new-age stuff myself.

but so far, i havent heard of anyone being murdered or kidnapped and tortured over tarot card readings XD

and i havent seen new-age people marching down main streets chanting "we will kill you and take your wives as war booty"

so long as these new-age people dont hurt others, which i dont think they are doing at all, then i say live and let live

  • lady : "this is george"

    dawkins: "hello!"

  • I love old Dawkins , but he does have something of professor yaffle about him

  • Thank you for the upload.

  • I actually can't stand Hammond's presenting. Apart from being over the top and blatantly false, He is condescending in his delivery. It's as if he's presenting for Saturday morning kids TV.

  • the fuckin bastards

  • if you disagree with this man, a large part of your brain isnt working

  • Reason is the pavement for equality. In a chaotic social system seams that equality should not limit individuality.

  • Great to play a drinking game to this - you have to drink either when some nutter says something stupid, or when you see what I call "The Dawkins Face of Incredulity". Love Prof. Dawkins, a true hero of intellectual reasoning

  • Numb yo ho, bizatch!

  • Yea, before I combined science and religion into one big mess, each attempting to justify the other. When a issue arose where both were incompatible, I ignored it. But Richard Dawkin (and my science teacher) opened my eyes to the infinite possibilities of logic and reason and away from the shallow pool religion offered.

  • Great show, but we've never sent orbiters to Neptune. We've only done flybys.

  • I agree with everything in there of course...

Richard Dawkins has no delivery skills though... mainly due to the fact that he is british and they are dull people. They should get some else to present the documentary... a black guy would prolly be more entertaining

  • @calai222

    That's very stereotypical of you.

Unless you've seen every british documentary, you can't really say that.

People like Richard Hammond are great for documentaries, it just takes a person with enthusiasm.

  • @6NoHope9 Exactly but unfortunally brithsh person are dull so they have no enthusiasm whatsoever

  • @6NoHope9 Oh, this is completely off-topic, but I love Richard Hammond's documentaries! :D

  • @calai222 Why don't you just be frank and admit that you don't like white people?

  • Great film, reason in a nutshell, I would say. What is that great music at 7:20?

  • I'm able to combine my logic with religion. I disagree with Dawkins about the problems of religion but he is an inspiration to me as well.

  • thank you thank you thank you Mr Dawkins.

  • Atheism is to me the norm, you dont have any unsubstantiated convictions simply because you "feel" it to be the way things are. Though it is strange that we have a name for atheism yet we do not have a special name for people who dont believe in santa clause. Having a special name makes it seem like a schism from other sects, however it's just people who are fortunate enough to not be exposed to indoctrination.

  • @fustilarian1 That is why I would much rather identify myself, if anyone ever asked, as a Rationalist rather than an atheist. My 'atheism' is a result of my desire at least in my mind to try and follow rationality and reason, even if I don't always. I think many people see atheism as a cause and not as a result. People don't start as an atheist and THEN start believing in things like cause and effect, evidence, scientific method etc.. rather the reverse.

  • thank you my friend for the upload

  • hello wen dy chow im yey hoe

  • his face at the beginning = priceless

  • we are due for another epidemic. I say it's religion.

  • Superstition has always existed in every culture and I dont see that changing.

  • @nunobelo

The notion that "superstition has always existed and you don't see it changing" sounds like a lazy outlook. The reason superstition exsists in the first place is because of ignorance. People don't have all the information to make decisions so they act on superstition, the more information they have, the better. Such is the difference between those who believe demons cause sickness and those who understand germ theory. I hope you're not too lazy to spread knowledge.

  • Professor Dawkins, being a man of science, really struggles with understanding why people choose to put faith in irrational ideas like meditation, astrology and religion. But to me it seems clear. In a world that keeps spinning faster, nothing is secure. Our jobs and relationships could vanish tomorrow and so we look for something that seemingly, takes the guesswork away. Something that says, 'Relax. It's out of your hands. Just leave it to us.' It's irrational, but it relieves the stress.

  • Richard Dawkins is an interesting, intelligent human being, but he is still presumptuous.

  • You are making the mistake of confusing religion with what is true.

Biblical reason is the study and learning of absolute truth as the Maker of all working matter and ordered functions existing in the universe.

    watch?v=lEledPONpkQ

  • rebelspirit1000 17

get a grip of yourself you uneducated idiot...i bet you dont base your everyday decisions on rubbish like the bible...i.e i have a great investment for you ..give me 10 grand and i will turn it into 100 grand for you....dont worry god said it will work...fancy a punt you fucking twat? you could pray to god and see what he thinks?

  • @paulyb58 That is a strawman argument. It has nothing to do with what the Bible actually teaches.

Dawkins is the one who is the "enemy of reason". He has built his entire life on false assumptions.

Mutations have never accumulated any ordered functions, they only change preexisting information.

There are a lot of big elephants in the room that Dawkins does not talk about. He is a biologist who doesn't talk about the very many ordered funtions of the elements in life forms requiring a Maker.

  • @JungleJargon There are a lot of big elephants in the room that Dawkins does not talk about. He is a biologist who doesn't talk about the very many ordered funtions of the elements in life forms requiring a Maker. like dawkins is going to acknowledge some imaginary friend. oh dear. if you really think you have an alternative anwer, well, the world of science is an open door. i suggest you knock on it, im sure they cant wait for your take on mutations/biology.. fingers crossed for you. lol

  • @kram83au Bear tracks in the woods are not evidence of an imaginary bear just as the ordered functions of most of the most common elements that are all essential working parts inside of us are not evidence of an imaginary Maker. You can't credit objects in nature for doing anything intentional.

There's a lot of evidence of design that objects fail to account for. That's why the burden of proof is on the ones making the claim that objects design, fabricate and order themselves by themselves.

  • @JungleJargon 'theres lots of evidence of design'' sorry, i have no more to say after such a comment. good day

  • @kram83au There is nothing you can say because objects do not account for any of the design.

Atheists and evolutionists always lose in a debate against a Creationist that knows anything.

It would be a better day if people would see that ordered functions cannot exist without a Maker.

It will be an even better day when evolution is taken out of our schools

  • @JungleJargon toys out of the pram,eh kid, thanks for such an insightful post. long live the delusion. lol.

  • Comment removed

  • @JungleJargon Its hard to beat a creationist with fingers in his ears. I guess you win

  • @JungleJargon then we'll go marching back to the Dark Ages again

  • He's like a ghost buster for people who think logically!

  • Why is Dawkins so concerned about what other people do? Let them be. If it works, then people will continue to do it and it will grow, but if it doesn't those people will move on to other things or perish. The beauty of freedom and liberty is the fact that in the end, only the best will survive.

  • @srvkkar - Everything in the world TV, restaurants, books and health products are reviewed. Many of these people make enormous claims and take the general public for billions world wide. Richard Dawkins and others are allowing people to have real scientific evidence to make a judgement BEFORE parting with their hard earned cash. As you are so concerned with the principle of supply and demand you should understand there is a demand for an informed exposure of the facts, he supplies it.

  • 1:40 Looks like Dawkins just discovered the Rock Ness Monster!

  • Comment removed

  • numb your hoe

  • @LeonardSecond

Peer reviewed? Peer reviewed? fucking please have you ever even had a romantic connection with a woman? i dont need a fucking paper to prove a woman gets her period once a month. Jesus christ please you dont even have any rebuttal except your claim in nonsense, congratulations. I dropped more knowledge bombs than you have the patience to research for yourself. You fucking ignoramus.

  • @preform "you dont even have any rebuttal except your claim in nonsense"

hey DIPSHIT! the onus of evidence is ON THE ONE MAKING THE CLAIM! FFS! Wipe the drool from your chin

"i dont need a fucking paper to prove a woman gets her period once a month"

there's a lot of empirical data to support that you fucking ignorant piece of shit... however, causation NEVER implies causation. Again... bring EVIDENCE to support it, not hairbrained arguments from ignorance

  • @preform Also, the moon's cycle is 29.53 days, female menstrual cycles average 28 days. WTF?! Some ignorant asshole (you) just said a woman has a period once a month... TRUE! You have failed to provide a shred of evidence this is linked to the moon's cycles. Also, then WHY wouldn't women everywhere in the same hemispheres, share their menstruation dates? WHY wouldn't other animals have similar cycles?! especially smaller mammals?! 20-22 days for pigs, 37 days for chimps, 11 days for guinea pigs

  • @LeonardSecond

Hey guy, you type in lunaception in google and find out for yourself. Not every woman has a period cycle of the same day, ever........and what does one day make a difference? Woman arent all born on the same day and neither do they all start puberty at the same time lol.....what other out of the blue moon ideas do you have? Its really simple dude, like 1+1 = 2.......the moon makes high and low tides, the human body has a high percent of water in it....

  • "Not every woman has a period cycle of the same day,"

hey douche! YOU ARE THE ONE who just last week said there was a connection with the moon! you CANNOT have it both ways!

"what other out of the blue moon ideas"

uhhhhh. YOU ARE the one who made a stupid claim with ZERO supporting evidence to back it.

"the human body has a high percent of water in it." <---borders on retardation. the minivan in your driveway has more of a gravitational pull on you than the moon does. as does your house

  • Tides are NOT only due to the moon's gravity. a LOT of it has to do with the earth's spin and the earth is pulling downward. the sun's gravitation also has an effect on tides but due to it's distance it's less. see v=inES_eAexN8 why do people laugh at creationists part 20

Again, correlation NEVER implies causation. as i stated previously, MANY mammals have different menstrual cycles and NONE are affected by the moon. put that in your crack pipe and smoke it. then wipe the drool from your chin

  • @preform

Do you really need a scientist or some self proclaimed authority to tell you the possibly obvious? Please ask a woman and google that word LUNACEPTION.....please, before you spew any more entertainment from your mouth =)

  • "...some self proclaimed authority to tell you the possibly obvious?"

Uhh. when you think critically, the EXACT OPPOSITE is what's patently obvious. WHY wouldn't the moon affect all the other animals menstruation cycles? WHY wouldn't it affect men in some way too? as i already pointed out, lunar cycles are 29.5 days, while a woman's period could be 26-33 days. our closest cousins the chimps =37 days

no empirical evidence to support the wacky LUNACEPTION. Personal anecdotes NEVER equals evidence

  • @LeonardSecond

haaaaaaaa ok guy you got it all figured out then. The moon effects everything your just too gosh darn empirical to see it. Enjoy your blandness! I do have to appreciate it.

  • @preform ..and i appreciate fucking retards who give me the opportunity to smack some sense, logic and reason into them. I see along with 5th grade intellect you have 5th grade grammar skills too. Let's rehearse the simple facts:

    1) everything with mass has a gravitational pull on you

    2) your minivan has more of a gravitational pull on you than the moon does

    3) if the moon were to effect women's periods, it would affect ALL mammals similarly

    4) you're an ignorant dipshit for repeating those lies

  • LeonardSecond, stop posting.

Some people just don't have what it takes to be part of polite, adult society.

You're either a very crude 6th grade boy or you have a severe case of arrested development.

  • @AppleSouffle who died and made you youtube police?! go fuck yourself

polite my ass. some people don't deserve being polite to. i'm tired of cottleing people who spread ignorant lies. it's time people woke the fuck up and got themselves a proper education.

  • @AppleSouffle "Your mom should smack you across the face for being such a disappointment to her."

Ouch! i don't know how i will ever recover from such a pwning insult! You accused me of being a 6th grade boy then post a 4th grade insult to my channel? ahhahahhaha! coming from a global warming climate denier, i'm not at all surprised.

  • @preform

ahemmm, as well my funny fellow, if you notice how fucked up the world is and you still think it isnt the people you look up to get your answer's fault, then start from the beginning and realize that your idea of accepted ideas is narrow minded and ass backwards. Make some truth for your self or stay a fake intellegent whos actually a dumb intellect repeating other peoples ideas. I dont need peer reviewed papers to know im correct.

  • " Make some truth for your self or stay a fake intellegent whos actually a dumb intellect"

translation: "i have no evidence to back up my fucking stupid old wive's tale, so i'll make an ad hominem attack and hope you'll go away"

sorry bro, repeating a lie often enough might get people to start believing it, but that doesn't magically make it come true. it doesn't even make fucking sense when you just begin thinking about it... but you either are too stupid or too ignorant to start thinking

  • 510 ignorant religious people cant handle the truth

  • 508 people are mentally deficient.

  • @EnigmaticTbay How is that? Explain with "logic and reason." hahahahahaha

  • @EnigmaticTbay How is that? Explain with "logic and reason." hahahahahaha There's actually 509 of us now

  • @frog1599 Oh damn, you disliked the video just to say that I was wrong, you're even more mentally deficient now, if you dislike a video that promotes logic and reason they you probably aren't a reasonably person. I go grant the fact that the quality on the video is kind of bad but there isn't much to look at in the first place.

  • @EnigmaticTbay I never said that I disliked the video just to say you were wrong. If you like logic so much, try applying to your grammar. It's terrible.

  • @frog1599 You implied it. My logic has nothing to do with my grammar, if you know what I mean.

What's not to like about logic?

  • I LOVE DAWKUMENTARIES

  • I'm and Ayn Randroid and agree with all the stuff Dawkins is saying but wouldn't be funny/crazy if one of these loonies actually started doing some unexplainable magic.

  • If I were telepathic I wouldn't be paying through the roof for my broadband.

  • 507 viewers need to stop using their computers and just use their telepathy.

  • I once knew a middle-aged lady who claimed to be a psychic medium. She looked more like an extra-large!

  • Complete delusion gives a negative vote for this videography!!

  • "Science has eradicated smallpox"- props to my main man Edward Jenner.

  • god is the creator of all and will smite thee devils with brimstone and grant thee a fiery death. wish i could record it

  • i dont dress women they dress themselves! lol

  • your all fools and you will know that God made the heavens and the earth the earth did not form it self your reason is wrong!! and you will pay!

  • @douggie7772010 you're a fool - the flying spaghetti monster made the earth. believe as i say or be tortured forever!

  • @kekejojo1212 Well my people believe in the flying lasagna monster, so now we must war for all time. Sorry Douggie, PASTAJIHAD!!! lol j/k

  • If we live in a universe that is beyond any comprehension, therefore we live in an illusion as change is the only constant. Why be hostile towards something that is beyond your comprehension if you live in a world that cannot be understood thoroughly?

  • @paemxia7 I don't think you've given this much thought.

  • The insinuation here is that reason and insanity is mutually exclusive. What is then reason? Is it science? If so what part of science? If a law(*) in a particular part of the universe does not apply in another part of the universe, then what is reason really base upon.

  • I really admire Dr. Dawkins. He is a brilliant scientific trying to open the eyes to the rest of the world, which is full of illiterate (fundamentalist) people. Thanks Dr. Dawkins for these videos, although it seems that it is a wasting time for many people, they're others (like me) whom are enjoying it.

[Let them live and die with their stupid ideas]

    Regards.

  • @cacevedo07 If only it were as easy as letting them live and die with their stupid ideas. Even right now, as you sit at your computer, fundamentalists are trying to get creationism into our school systems. Even right now it's used as a tool, by politicians, to exploit people. People are brainwashing children right now. Religion gives sane people the capabilities to do insane things.

  • @s4n7i460v

hah I had to send my atheist Son to religious private schools

just so he could receive a superlative education. We atheists

have to live with the reality that the majority of the earths population

believes in some whacky ghost or goblin story.

Our only hope is that reason will win the day in the end.

  • lol dawkins in the beginning was like..... wtf?

  • "i dont dress women they dress themselves!!!"

  • They are basically finding an alternative meds to cure sickness

  • I love Ricahrd Dawkins :( at 1:23 like "oh sad little boy..."

  • I wish I had the balls to be as out spoken as Dawkins. I'm affraid of my family reaction. I wish they could see the truth as I do. I view the truth as beautiful. The world is an amazing place, and the Universe is so huge it's almost impossible to comprehend. Richard Dawkins is amazing.

  • @MrJIMMY3009

Iam afraid that this want more than balls, it also take lot of time to focuse on subject until u can speak about it objectively and so

  • @MrJIMMY3009 Richard Dawkins is a fool...

  • @303central Apparently you mistake him for yourself. If anyone is a fool, it is you.

  • @TheEvilYoshiKiller Idiot! Read back to yourself the comment you wrote.

  • @303central I read it. I'm saying that he's not the fool - you are.

  • @303central why?

  • @MrJIMMY3009 You shouldn't be afraid of what your family or anyone else for that matter might think. Once I broke the news to my folks I started talking to them and started to see a small change of how the see things and their fanatism drop a little. it is a small step but hopefully they will get there.

  • @MrJIMMY3009 ---> You are already halfway there. Yours is the path of enlightenment. Truth and logic is it's own reward. Don't let family dogma or superstition sway you from a quest for what's right.

  • I wish I had the balls to be as out spoken as Dawkins. I'm affraid of my family reaction. I wish they could see the truth as I do. I view the truth as beautiful. The world is an amazing place, and the Universe is so huge it's almost impossible to comprehend.

  • I have NO idea how or why someone would rate this video down. Unless of course you dislike Richard Dawkins, and do not care about the subject matter.

  • What shopkeeper let Richard Dawkins just play about with his flutes, lol?

Shop guy- "Oh, no problem Mr. Dawkins, just have a go with my magic healing flutes."

Dawkins- "That's absolute rubbish, but sure, i'll try it. Wow, i'm pretty good at this."

  • @proprodigySD i lol'd

  • 0:27 awkward!....

  • "irrationality is woven into the fabric of modern life"

he's absolutely right about that. new age beliefs/practices are like everywhere these days.

  • Ayn Rand would have bitch slapped that dude when he said,"You keep coming back to how could it would... it's a deep dark mystery."

What's scarier than these frauds and philistines that know what they do is fake? Not the ones that believe that what they do is real, but the idiots that allow themselves to get taken in when 10 seconds of thought would expose these phonies. :P

  • Right everyone lets save the world! absolute science and reason is the way...blaahahahahahahaha lets invest more money on space expeditions that has already cost hundreds of billions to justify our own curiosity...blaaaahahahahahaha...what have we found? some rock samples hahahahahahahah

  • @msofinowski1 what they found bwahahaha maybe the very computer that you type right now, the electricity, the medicine and the sanitation you trivially enjoy? Yeah, leave your computer go to the mountains and die from cholera gene-pool will be better,

  • AHAHA, i love the beginning of this episode where those people are chanting all intensely and Richard Dawkins is sitting there sort of tapping his knees like a kid trying to figure out why the adults are making such a fuss about a stupid ritual.

  • Funny is that when we are kids, we are natural scientists, investigating each object and acquiring empirical knowledge limited by our child brain capacity, but then comes THOSE religions our parents contracted and takes that out with it's empty poetries, controversial texts and absolute truths.

It's very well made up, takes smartness to create a profitable religion, every single word is put there to draw the target to the cage of imaginative thinking, faith, and denialism.

  • 500 dislikes = 500 imbeciles

  • i rarely feel moved to actually post something truly meaningful but i want to point this out to ANYONE who argues people like richard dawkins or james randi...

believing in any sort of astrology alone catagorizes people based on zero or false information...

this is exactly the way racism such as our beliefs about blacks having no souls started or like mike sais. why white guys always win the wars....its the individuals, not the race or astrological sign

  • The truth that matters? There is but one absolute truth in this universe, that is that there are no absolute truth!!

  • @PEKT02 I love that old joke. I agree though: Dawkins says false where others might say "extremely unlikely". And "truth" is nothing but a well-tested theory, the most likely option. But practically he's right, I can't really disagree with him, except for choice of words.

  • @PEKT02 There are, the truth as we know it is what matters, if there is some other truth, some supernatural element, show me tangible evidence, otherwise the only recourse is that the claim is false. People have looked left right and center for evidence to support the supernatural for centuries and have found nothing, that's evidence enough for me that there is no such thing as 'supernatural.'
