You seem to be contented with genetically modified analogues. It is obvious you have not experienced the reality of diabetes dangers = before AND after GMO analogues. Hey Footloose4Ever --The important thing to realize is that the CHOICE of natural insulin no longer exists. It is something that should be an OPTION for people with insulin-dependent diabetes: GMO versus natural insulin. Some people cannot use GMO analogues. Some people prefer insulin from a natural source (beef or pork). In a country like America -- there shouldn't be a CHOICE.

Im using Novo Rapid and Levmir

Levmir doesn't seem to work as well as Protophane. More stable but less potent.

Novo Rapid sure works, but since using these insulin's I get a burning sensation on my tongue and I don't feel my hypos as well as I used to, (central nervous system issue?) I was told I don't feel the hypos due to having many hypos over the years my body has become more tolerant??
