i have the Galco Summer Comfort that i carry my M&P 9mm compact in and i really like and i am an overwieght guy

Do you have any recommendations for me? I will be carrying a Glock 23. I have 40 lbs over weight and have a Beer Belly, you might say. I like this Galco Royal Guard but worried about " Printing ". If you're a big guy around the waist, is this still a good product? Any oversized friends out there using this Royal Guard?

@Gluckstadt007 I understand that with any IWB holster's that I have to buy my pants in 1 to 2 sizes bigger than usual to allow for wearing an IWB holster.? Is this true .?

I just ordered a Galco "Halo" OWB holster for my Sig Sauer p226 with Tactical Light!!! That gun is Impossible to carry without a good leather holster, so I cant wait to get it!!!

I also have a Miami Classic shoulder system that I carry my Beretta 92 in... Ive tried alot of holsters, but none fit like a galco!!!

I just got this holster today and I put it on at my 3 oclock but with the tshirt i was wearing it was pretty much impossible not to see that I was carrying. guess no matter what it just does not work well with regular tshirts.

@excelerater After we eat those "poor horses" their hides can be tossed into the fire or made into holsters to carry our guns. The same guns are used to down the next horse and the cycle begins anew.

I have this holster and it is rough side out. I carry a SIG P220 in it very comfortably, I also highly recommend : )

t looks like the rough part is inside. That will probably create some wear on the finish of the handgun, no? I would rather see the smooth side inside. Any other brands that might have that feature?

@glocky2 The rough side is outside, so the holster stays in position very well. The inside of the holster is smooth.

@glocky2 : the Milt Sparks Summer special has the rough side inside and the smooth side out. It's a little bit more expensive, but appears to be worth it.
