I have bought all their albums and seen them live around 10 times (seeing them again in October). I just cannot fathom why this band is not huge in their home country. They are easily the best band out of Manchester since the Smiths and are up there with Morrissey and Joy Division/New Order. Great albums, fantastic songs, amazing live performances, amazing singer. Why don't British people get it?

And I can see what I presume are Greek posts. Just why are they so big in Greece?

There are entries in Spanish and Russian too! I think the problem is that the UK music scene is flooded with US artists and the only British acts that seem to make an impact on home turf are radio-friendly indie bands like Coldplay.
