I am beginning to see how the charismatics use invented, redefined terms and their own kind of PC jargon to neutralize the arguments against their unbiblical approach to worship. If you couple that with these powerful emotions and bind it together with spiritual peer pressure, you end up with a kind of deception that is nearly impossible to see your way out of.

This is what happens when people get away from the Biblical understanding that worship is a spiritual sacrifice - work that one does as an act of his mind (spirit). To the charismatic, worship is all about "connecting" and "drawing down fire," and "receiving the anointing."

One of many indicators is this: There is no way in the world that the HOLY Spirit would cause a woman to make herself immodest in front of someone who is not her husband. That is an UNHOLY spirit.

not nessesarily.. although it is way easier than many people realize to open yourself up to demon possesion... it can come through music, peers, pornography etc. but man is inherently evil, and therefore in our own power we are nothing but sinners.. therefore our flesh has to be overcome in order to let God's annointing truly flow in our lives.. but because we are stubborn & like to hold onto our flesh, pain both spiritual and physical accompanies true revival
