@KiddQuestion Sega had very little or nothing to do with MK. Sony even less so. Not sure what drugs you're using but you should be kind enough to share them with the rest of the class! MK has always been released by Midway until they went bankrupt, now Warner Brothers Games owns the franchise rights. The actual studio making the games is called Neatherrealm studios and has pretty much been the same since the beginning except instead of just 4 people it's now hundreds!

SNES, Gameboy, Genesis, Game Gear, Saturn, PS1, N64, GBA, Gamecube, Dreamcast, PS2, Xbox, DS, Wii, PS3, 360 (and I'm sure many more) but the console manufacturers own nothing of the rights to the games themselves. Mortal Kombat never has belonged to Sega nor Sony, it has always belonged to Midway or WB... no matter what system it's been on nor who made the games.

Problems with this game:

In UMK3 when scorpion does his spear he only says GET instead of GET OVER HERE

All 3 games are laggy, MK1 not as bad but the other 2 are terrible

You cant use human smoke for one round apprently

Theres alot of game crashes online

The sound is very low

Its extremely hard[although thats not a problem for me...it is for some people]

@retrofangamer In the Arcade version, the only stages that were cut were The Bank and The Hidden Portal (where you fought smoke in MK3 by Kombat Kode without the UKK). The new stages cycled twice before going through the original MK3 stage cycle. The Hidden Portal was replaced by Scislac Busorez (the blue portal stage), while the Bank was replaced in the original MK3 cycle by the Desert.

@Eggheadcobra I believe time constraints were not the only reason the ninjas were excluded from MK3. There were also behind-the-scenes issues involving several actors from the first 2 games both prior to and during MK3's production.

Katalin Zamiar (who played the female ninjas in MKII) was involved in a pay dispute with Midway (she eventually sued the company) and Daniel Pesina (who played Johnny Cage and the male ninjas) was fired by Midway for the infamous Bloodstorm ad fiasco.

This may have to do with store update schedules. The PC version was originally supposed to be released on the same day, but today, it was announced that the PC version is delayed by a few weeks.
