This song is about how horrible she felt when she had to put one of her beloved cats to sleep, struggling with the thought, was it the right thing to do? She's talking to her kitty.

The "filling up my eyes" means looking at pictures of the deceased cat...pictures don't give comfort, she want her cat back, but it was sick, but she killed him, but it saved the cat suffering, but she killed him....just a awful, awful awful choice to make.

I don't know what the lyrics are there at around 2:30.

I think it's better too ! I love so much listening to her live (from my computer of course, because I live in France and I really doubt that I'd be someday lucky enough to listen to her live here ! ;-()

When she sings live, there's something really refined. Her voice, her guitar, it's quite enough.

Nope, no processing at all. I shot with a single camera and recorded 4 channels of audio (stereo audience mics and stereo feed from the soundboard). The only processing was a small amount of reverb that the live sound guy George added. Live, she sounds exactly like she does here.
