ok, im not trex but i will answer your question.

It is VERY IMPORTANT to EV train if you want to do serious battling on wi-fi. EV training lets you maximize some of your stats. If you put 252 EV points on a certain stat, you will have the stat 63 points above the no-EV maximum. It can mean the difference between killing your opponent or just barely keeping it alive. If you have any other questions, just ask.

well i watched this guy named mantanks ev traing on attcak power vid and I had my power bracer on my lvl 84 luxray and kept fightin the gryados and seaking in twinleaf towns river but even when I spent awhile doing that it just kept lvling up the same way why is that?

Was EV training made easier in pearl? because in Emerald it takes some time and having all those pokemon at level 100 with maxed EV's/pretty good IVs is kinda REALLY boring xD. Oh and btw on Emerald I lucked out and caught an starmie with a 25/26 sp. atk IV, but thats about the only good iv thing I have, I simply dont care too much for them (hidden power is too hard to setup and 31 points in one stats isnt really thaaaaaaat much).

That means it has no clue. The IV is somewhere between and including 0 to 31.

It means you made a mistake on entering stats/EVs, or are doing it at too low a level

Those little things tell you which IV is the highest on the poke, and there are 5 or 6 different phrases for each stat...so really it doesn't tell you much at all.
