  • does this help the car?

  • @adiosk8rdude2 Maybe a little better response in acceleration because it helps the engine breathe better, but nothing really significant.

  • I just put an injen cold air intake on my 2003 gallant 2.4 L 4 cyl. It's pretty sick nice noise and I noticed a performance increase and it's all stock besides the CAi. Too bad the car likes to shift at 3500 rpms.

  • no tak przypierdolił !!!! zatrzesz !!

  • Check out my 1997 Acura CL 3.0. Please comment if viewed.

  • @XxkickstartxX1 Thats a clean CL you got there. Looks and sounds amazing!

  • dude check out my drive by

Galant Cold Air Intake Drive By

  • whats with the hot air intake?

  • i have the same car

    galant 2002

could you please give me the linnks to all the parts i would be soo happy

  • @PCGENIUS1000 Get it from ebay, or if you want a expensive one get an Injen or AEM. Search on Google

  • where did you buy it i have the same car

  • sounds potent

  • my freind thought it would be smart to blow computer duster stuff into his intake cuz he thought it was just air i told him it was dumb to do cuz it was flammable but he sia dit is just air he did it bang is the next thing your hear he blow a gasket!!! dumb ass

  • I installed an Injen in mine a month ago, the sound is good. :)

  • how much are air intake pipes. i want to buy one for my 82' supra. i already have a spectre filter.

  • @IDIDITFORTHELULZK: for a reasonable one from a good brand, in the hundreds, but for this one, you can buy it in segments which cost about $9-12 each. With the 4 segments, and rubber connecters I used, the whole intake cost me around $75-80

  • wuss up. my name is Cheadle and was wondering did u buy that intake online and if u did can u send me the info on the part. i have a 2001 galant 3.0 liter myself and need to put a new intake on it. thanks for the help!!!!!

    rdaggwood_10@yahoo.com

  • @IDIDITFORTHELULZK or you can buy a good one instead of a cheap peice of trash that leaks for around 150- 200

  • Check put my video 01 galant cold air intake Video maker brentmcjunkin

  • @Kajoandrea I got an 09 a couple of months ago and it wasn't to expensive. It's just an es but it looks great. I just got the windows tinted and I'll b getting rims soon. Check my channel in about two weeks and I'll have a vid of it. And lastly, I'm noticing that performance parts made for newer models of the galant are very hard to find

  • i still cant tell what an intake sounds like. can someone please explain what sound i should be looking for lol

  • Hey guys. Im considering to buy one. But I've heard that the Galant is not just really exenpensive, but REALLY expensive when it comes to spare parts. Can anyone, owner or previously owner confirm this?

  • Comment removed

  • i just put a pipercross viper carbon fibre induction kit on my mums 2002 galant sport sound lush i will put a video up soon

  • i need to know where you bought this and how much total please.

  • @bam0915 im not sure about the part number since its been a while. At Autozone by the aftermarket intakes, there should be adapters. On the side of the packaging, look for 99-03 Galant, 00-05 Eclipse, Stratus ect.

  • is that sound(when reving) all from the intake filter or something else??

  • @SunDaygoPinoy I think its the sound of the intake valves opening and drawing air in. The stock intake has sound dampening so when you replace it with pretty much a straight tube, there is no sound dampening. All of that noise is coming out of the end of the tube (filter)

  • Hey guys i have a v6 with the same setup..i'll make a tutorial of the setup......

  • Theres an adapter you buy (the silver and black thing after the sensor) that fits the filter to the MAF

  • i got one of this intakes...does anyone know where i can get a carb legal sticker??? let me know ASAP

  • that intake is made of parts from autozone or some parts store no?

  • have you noticed and improvements with the intake?

  • Ehh, the car is more responsive and sounds ALOT better, but nothing drastic.

  • oh wow lol my friend just did the same thing, same brand airfilter, same year galant, and the same model too hahaha. sounds so good.

  • How much did it cost?

  • About $80

  • What year is that?

  • 2001 i guess :)

  • Haha good guess! it is a 2001

  • now thats a car sound nice and deep

  • nice!

  • i just bought a galant its an 03 automatic and i want to add a bunch of shit to it. but i wanna add a cold air intake, can you tell me how or if its hard to install?

  • Its not difficult at all. it can be done in 30 minutes easily.

  • just 30 minutes? damn. what all do you need to install one?

  • @airsoftg0d. You just need basic tools like socket wrenches and screwdrivers and some creativity to create a mounting bracket.

  • hy man , im planing to buy a mitsubishi galant next year , casn you tell me if your engine is 2.0l or 2.5l , and i wanted to know if they could be turbocharged ?

  • wat is that computer sitting on the filter?

  • i just put one of those on my mom 04 hyundai sonata and it sounded better then wat i expectid haha

  • TRY VR4 GALANTS PISSES ON AN ES.

  • is that the company injen? or another company

  • i wish it was an injen. Its made by Spectre, some brand sold at autozone

  • Say bro i have a Glant with that same little black box that you have connected to your intake system and im tryin to do the same what intake system do you have and how did you hook it up?

  • Its a Spectre modular intake sold at autozone. That little black box is your mass airflow sensor. I just bought the intake segments, and the cone air filter adapter and attached them to either side of the sensor box.

  • i have a 2002 galant ES. i wanna do some work to it, even though ill have my 1977 stang by august

  • That mustang will be a very nice car. And i think that galants have some kind of potential in them.

  • they do. its a quick car, but its not quick enough for me. i like muscle car sound and power.

  • but how did u take it off im trying to figure mine out can u expalain how u did thanks

  • For the stock airbox, Unclip the top piece like you would if you were going to change the filter. There are 4 bolts holding the top piece to the intake tube where MAF sensor (little black box shown in video) is. Once off, you can trace the 3 or 4 bolts holding the bottom piece of the airbox on. The stock intake tube is clamped on at the throttle and behind the MAF sensor. Loosen these clamps and maneuver the tube out.

  • thank u alot finally i can put an intake on m car thanks again

  • dude thank you!!! i was lost on where to put my air sensor "duh" lol, but now i know where exactly! :)

  • very nice and clean engine. im going to go clean mine xP

  • I want this car!!!! :P

  • I bought the piping and the air filter at autozone. Its sold in segments so i bought the segments that fit my engine. You can sorta see the individual segments in the vid. I spent about $80 bucks

  • wer did u get ur intake kit???
