Rarely do I know most of the lyrics to a song after the first couple of lines without even hearing it before. I love Amos Lee! Love you most of all Viki!
My best friend told me to listen to this song... And now we are going out and going good. This song literally hooked us up... I LOVE THIS SONG!!! <3 :)
Doyle Bramhall, Jr on guitar(solo artist,Meshell Ndegeocello,Roger Waters,Eric Clapton...), Spooner Oldham on keys(Aretha Franklin,Bob Dylan...), Pino Palladino on bass (D'Angelo,The Who and absolutely everyone in between!) and James Gadson on drums (Bill Withers,Marvin Gaye,Ray Charles,Frank Sinatra,Herbie Hancock...)...8)
He must like Al Green as much as I do. I like Amos Lee over Al for being more universal- and I'm from the windy city 1970's, Al Green lived not too far from my hood.
Oh dis song r great but it's NOT the song I've been searching 4 and it's hard cuz all I can remember is that: it sounds like soul and dis few words: baby baby oh you wouldn't let me go that baby ... or somthin like that xD
Thats the shiznic right there!

When I first heard the song I thought two things
1: The singer reminds me of Al Green
2: Those lyrics. How did Amos Lee get in my head and write about my feelings for the woman I love?

nah, I prefer the recorded version. Too much riffing and improv just loses the essence of the song
