OMG! I wish I'd known about this event... always loved Emmitt, and his songs have haunted me for years, even when I hadn't even heard them for about 30 years! Hope we hear more from this musical genius!
I have heard Emitt perform at home when he was alot more relaxed than he is here, and believe me when I tell you that he still has a WONDERFUL voice! The diabetes, drinking and family problems have sadly plagued him, damn near KILLED him and stalled his career for far too many years. I cannot say how DELIGHTED I am that Emitt is finally reclaiming his greatest love and his greatest gift to society:MUSIC! ROCK ON Darlin'!!!! :*

Love Emitt Rhodes. My dad played his records all the time when I was a kid.
I write and record myself now including playing all the instruments just as Emitt does and its great to see this clip.
My thanks go out to Emitt for his music and dad for giving me the chance to hear him. Only Lovers Decide = My favourite song ever.
