I'm so thankful there's so much footage of Mia doing what she loved. My 3yr old daughter(who has 2 brothers and is quite the spitfire) now has a RESPECTABLE female role model in the music world to show her you can be amazing, you can be a badass, and you don't have to be like Taylor Momson or God forbid Courtney Love. Mia prove you don't have to be a drugged-out, overexposed bag of bones to get noticed. She was a REAL woman who was ripped away from us and will always have a place in our hearts<3

i watched the investigators show about the murder of Mia. i watched the documentary and started listening to few songs i was able to find. and i've realized this was a great band. great lyrics, great singing, and great people. I never got to know Mia but i have learned she was an amazing person. R.I.P. Mia Zapata.
