tried it my self, the eye starring, but not in Scientology, in a spiritualist group, and hells yes you will see stuff, they said it was spirits/ghosts, or energy, clearly bullshit,
Scientology is a bit different clearly, at least as crazy
@baqnblaq2003 On what grounds do you make that claim, may I ask? In fact I find Christians egotistical, ignorant people. They claim to know what happens after death, and how people should act, and how people should think, when in reality that just isn't the case. I believe in things greater than myself, like society, which I haven't lost hope in yet which is a surprise when you find people such as yourself who make absurd assertions like you did in your comment.
@baqnblaq2003 Quite the opposite. Atheists can see beyond their childhood brainwashing and are willing to accept new ideas if they have evidence to back them up. Separating fact from fiction has nothing to do with ego, but defending a personal opinion despite the evidence to the contrary being all around you is definitely egotistical.
Pretty sure you weren't hit with a "votebot attack". Your video is just excruciatingly boring and it sounds like a piece of shit. Scientology is an insane organization though, so you got that right.
@WirlWind494 Speaking from personal experience, you cannot get high enough on just weed to swallow the turd L.Ron Hubbard dropped on our unfortunate planet.
Scientologists are subhuman murderers. Liars, rapists of babies and scum. Lets all agree as Atheists that when operation religicide begins, that we torture this vermin before we release its life force :)
Everyone, please do not allow yourselves to be misguided by "theAtheistExperience" scum.
Their only purpose is to divert you away from your lord. They will try to use science to get the job done, but their science is a false one because if you question them about it in detail they are unable to answer and are left looking dumb. That is why these morons never go toe to toe with Muslims, because they know we can expose and humiliate them within one minute. Their videos are not worth watching.
@BreakFix It's not THEIR science. It's the human's science. If you think you can do what you claim, call them live, get the video and post it here. Just don't forget that they're not the only atheists in the world.
@BreakFix Yeah, all science has done is eradicate smallpox & polio, put a man on the moon, extended the average lifespan to 80 years, allowed organ transplants, made the computer you posted your message with, allowed for farming processes that fed the world, made world travel take hours rather than weeks, and human rights in the West that would astound our ancestors.
So how's that compare to the standard of living in the Muslim world? Still beheading witches? Still keeping girls out of school?
Executing witches is something that took place throughout Europe. Aparantly, according to people like you, If you tie a womans hands up and place concrete on her feet and drop her in a river then if she floats she is a witch and if she sinks and survives more that an hour without air then she is pure! Wow. Look at your science.
as for all the inventions you mention. You can thank the Muslims for that. All credit is due to Allah (swt) who gave the Muslims knowledge.
@BreakFix An execution was the sentence handed down for witchcraft in Quraiyat, Saudi Arabia on April 2, 2006.
People like me say that there's no such thing as "witches". And I live in a society that hasn't ordered a witch killed in at least a couple of hundred years. The Muslim world is still in the same decade as one.
Everything I mentioned was created in secular societies, and used the scientific method. What great advancements have come from the Muslim world in the last century?
You mean those muslims like Newton and Einstein and all those Nobel prize winners and Scottish engineers like James Watt and American inventor Thomas Edison and mathematicians Gauss, Galois, Fourier, Poincare, Lagrange, Laplace, ancient Roman medical doctor Galen - all THOSE muslims, right?
There's always someone who thinks he's hot shit. For every name you bring I can give you 10 Muslim names in reply. But I am not going to get engaged in 'who can piss the furthest' contest.

@FullAccessAgent Yeah. I agree he was a seriously strange person but I don't believe he molested children, and the many jurys thought the same. Amazing artist.
I was thinking about this yesterday: yeah, scientology is a cult. But also, and like all religions (again), scientology is a businesssssssss. it's just a business, except its a shitty business like amway trying to recruit drones.
Why are you two fellows so interesting in persuading how people live their life? I'm not arguing religion there is no point. Just why does it bother you what other people do in their daily life? It doesn't bother me that you don't believe in a God. You are living your life accounting to you. I would not try to stop you. You are the master of your soul. But why can't you simply let me and other be the master of our own souls? Answer these question because I've harmed no one being a Catholic.
@BaldEagle841 maybe they just enjoy the intellectual discussion? there are millions of catholics that spend their lives trying to persuade people how to live their life but apparently its wrong when some atheists try to do the same?
@AussiePolitics Two wrongs don't make a right. I've never persuaded any one to do anything. Minus my parents buying me a toy I wanted when I was younger. I'm on my own path that I've chosen. I can get off at any time, but I never have had the desire to. An if you looked any many of the leaders of the Catholic church. You would realize they are very intelligent. Often speaking many languages and knowing history rather well.
@BaldEagle841 who says its a wrong to argue and debate the mysteries of the universe? why is it somehow insulting to question a person's opinion on how the universe began? we can question people on any other topic but when it comes to a factual discussion on this issue its somehow just "wrong" to have a rational debate?
there is NOTHING wrong with anyone arguing over religion providing they just use words which the people in this video obviously are
@BaldEagle841 furthermore i never said that catholics were stupid, i just said that they were no different to atheists in arguing for their views. if nobody bothered to think or argue about these issues then we might as well become dumb beasts
@AussiePolitics Or we could live in peace. An argument and debating are not the same thing. "I don't want to argue with you, but." I think arguments are a waste of valuable time which could be spent on making money. I don't argue with people about religion for a lot of reasons. The main reason and this is the fella that says its wrong is History. Arguing over religion has caused more deaths then anything. Crusades world wars its the biggest political tool ever devised. Keep repeating it not me.
@BaldEagle841 ah i see so you'd rather everyone just went about blindly accepting what they were told without their views ever being challenged by someone else with a different opinion. we should all be quiet lest *shock horror* someone actually be offended. thats just pathetic. in a free society we do not have the right NOT to be offended. its called free speech, and if no-one ever said anything that made us uncomfortable or question our values then we really are no better than dumb beasts
@AussiePolitics Thats your opinion. I know what I believe in and I'm not going to let you judge me. So you know what as far as I am concerned you can keep your opinions to yourself. Thanks have a nice day.
@BaldEagle841 so far based on your highly emotional remarks to the opinions of others its pretty obvious you're so terrified that the views of others will cause you to question your own faith. you want to live in a secluded little bubble where everyone goes about their lives like brainless drones without ever questioning the religion their parents drilled into them.
by the way, its not my opinion about speech, its a legal right enshrined in your constitution.
Answer this question because I've harmed no one being a Catholic.
The Universal Life Church offers online legal ordination. I am a legally ordained minister of the ULC and I believe Matt is also. Many celebrities are also ordained by the monastery. And yes, they offer 'starter kits'. I think ALL atheists should become ordained ministers and tell these xian 'lay persons' to fuck off. Anyway, it's great fun!
If it's all about Concentration & so-called strengthing the mind why don't people save their money & just take Martial Arts? In the meantime you also learn how to fight & get in shape!
I'm also thinking about starting a RELIGION or Cult (I get them confused) & all you have to do is Not breathe for 13 hours while standing on your head knitting a sweater & the temperature outside has to be 63 degrees on a Thursday in a tiny town in S. Dakota!!! Very Easy!
Better be careful. The Scientologists are well known for stalking people and attempting to uncover dirty secrets. You can easily detect them as they are always recording a video of you while following you.
@no1sjester Well I'm not crazy and I am a Catholic. I believe in the ideology of Love and Friendship. Giving yourself to everyone and treating them as you would treat yourself. Well Jesus rather you believe in him or not. Was said to be a Hebrew. A teacher of Judaism who's teachings did not match up with everyone else. Sounds like Bruce Lee teaching Gong Fu before teaching his own style of Jeet Kune Do. Which is what Jesus did when he took his disciples and branched off.

So a Atheist who does not believe in any religion can inform others about religion? This is not a good idea people. This guy is not saving anyone time, more like wasting people time. Allow people to believe in what they want. Allah, JAH, Buddha, whatever you believe in.
Atheists, and anyone else can inform people about other topics, but that does not mean that the person or people they are talking to have to agree with them. This is saving peoples time who may be interested in the Scientology cult, as well as saving them the rediculous fee's that apply for "testing if your right for scientology". Nothing good comes from the group. The "test" for scientology is about 500 questions, I took it before to see what it was, and it took over an hour to complete.
After those 500 questions, you are automaticly "accepted" as someone who would "benifit" from Scientology (proven), and you get harrassing e-mails (which I still to this day recieve) from your nearest Scientology centre, who arrange meetings for you, without your prior concent. Sorry, but there is a BIG difference between modern day religions, which have benifits, and cults, like scientology, which do not.
I think I know why so many "celebrities" join this cult!, they are so bored with there rich pampered lives they need something to do with their unlimited free time and money. lol.
@Aliceloves1 It is because an atheist doesn't believe in religion that they can inform others, an Atheist will just objectively inform you of what each religion is about. They don't try to convert you so you can understand more about that religion rather than someone talking about how great it is.
@Aliceloves1 First of all it's AN atheist not A atheist. Bad grammar = moronic generation. Secondly, they are informing not trying to convert. They state FACTS that's it, something that someone who is in a religion has no definition for.
I'd perhaps agree if that were pluralised: "moronic generations". People have been butchering languages for some time now, and it's not just young people. Admittedly, many young people twist them until they're completely unrecognisable, but more minor errors are made by any generation alive today. I like to consider myself separate from these butchers, as I suspect you do. Maybe it's better to keep it at an individual level: "Bad grammar = moron".
@calaberman You are a fucking idiot. Perhaps you should spend more time in an English class: if you had, you'd realise that I was actually agreeing with you. If you weren't so defensive and anxious to criticise, that would help too.
@calaberman I suspected that, but what can I say; I am a hypocrite: being overly defensive is fun, and "You are a fucking idiot" is an incredible sentence.
I just want to point out that an ellipsis is supposed to have 3 dots, you used a comma where you should have used a semicolon, and rebuttal is a noun, not a verb. You should have said "rebut" instead of "rebuttal". Also, you made an inappropriate use of an ellipsis.
@Aliceloves1 We do not have to BELIEVE in those FAREFETCHED FAIRY TALES,NONE OF THEM ,but we do STUDY and RESEARCH ALL of them to be able to argue and stop this nonsense .There is a lot to be exposed in all the fake CHARLATANISM of ALL religions.

An Atheist speaking about religion is like the KKK talking about Jena 6. This video is pretty old. I am not a Scientologist but I think everyone has their own right to choose.
"An Atheist speaking about religion is like the KKK talking about Jena 6." That entire statement is flawed. For instance, comparing Atheists to the KKK racist, homophobic wastes of life, holds no water. Scientology is in no form a "religion". A religion brings hope (even if it may possibly be false) and helps towards it's own community, that is a given understanding, even to Atheists.
However Scientology is just an insane cult, with policies that are even more insane, such as -
Their policy of "no modern day medicine". John Travolta's Son died from an epileptic seizure that could have been easily treated and prevented through modern medicine... instead it was treated with vitamins... Surely that, along with other documented deaths is cause for notable concern?
@1rishShaman Sounds a lot like the christian science religion. Despite the name, it has nothing to do with science they are nothing but a bunch of crackpots, who believe it is a sin to receive medical treatment. They would prefer you to pray.
@Aliceloves1 An atheist speaking about religion is like someone who doesn't do drugs talking about all the negative effects.
Because they don't do drugs then they can clearly understand the negative effects about them, whereas a junkie may be so helplessly stuck in their situation they may be in denial about much of it.
@Aliceloves1 Also, everyone DOES have the right to choose. Russel and Matt understand this right. But in America for example (where the show is hosted) people do NOT have the right to impose their beliefs on other people without any logical reasoning. Which is exactly what Christians frequently do.
The Atheist Experience isn't out to change peoples minds. If you ACTUALLY believe in your religion, people talking about it not being real should not threaten your position.
The KKK is a hate group. Atheists aren't a hate group. I'm sure there are Atheists that are hateful of religion just like there are those who simply deem it silly. I categorize myself as one of the latter.
Actually no. An atheist is like a person who doesn't believe or is without the belief talking. Thats all, it is one belief on one subject, whether and individual knows a lot about religion, or origins they are an do talk about it. You are equating atheism as it's a set of beliefs. It is one. Atheists can believe in spirits, in afterlife, and most Buddhists are atheist as buddhism has no god by default.
You are a silly person trying to spread an unfair comparison. An atheist most of the time has more accurate information to deliver then the religious for one reason and one reason only. We actually came to our religion by researching. When you research you gain actual data, instead of believing something as truth for thousands of years on faith even though the evidence contradicts it.
@JamesCizuz Atheism is not a religion. There's also no evidence for spirits or an after so a true atheist should disbelieve in them just as they would disbelieve in god(s).
I dont see that a video being nearly 4 years old would invalidate what it says. Surely the CoS hasn't had a wholesale change of it's beliefs and practices in the last 4 years?
7/10/05 ? why is it that all the "evidence" is at least 3 years old. The problem I have with this entire thing is that as yet nobody is bringing evidence forward which connects all of this together in 2009.
This is NOT a CoS endorsement, but rather an observation after a year's involvement. There's a saying in 'anonymous' which goes "dox or stfu."
Assumptions are not dox. Many years stale video isn't either.

AussiePolitics 1 year ago
@AussiePolitics Two wrongs don't make a right. I've never persuaded any one to do anything. Minus my parents buying me a toy I wanted when I was younger. I'm on my own path that I've chosen. I can get off at any time, but I never have had the desire to. An if you looked any many of the leaders of the Catholic church. You would realize they are very intelligent. Often speaking many languages and knowing history rather well.
BaldEagle841 1 year ago
@BaldEagle841 who says its a wrong to argue and debate the mysteries of the universe? why is it somehow insulting to question a person's opinion on how the universe began? we can question people on any other topic but when it comes to a factual discussion on this issue its somehow just "wrong" to have a rational debate?
there is NOTHING wrong with anyone arguing over religion providing they just use words which the people in this video obviously are
AussiePolitics 1 year ago
@BaldEagle841 furthermore i never said that catholics were stupid, i just said that they were no different to atheists in arguing for their views. if nobody bothered to think or argue about these issues then we might as well become dumb beasts
AussiePolitics 1 year ago
@AussiePolitics Or we could live in peace. An argument and debating are not the same thing. "I don't want to argue with you, but." I think arguments are a waste of valuable time which could be spent on making money. I don't argue with people about religion for a lot of reasons. The main reason and this is the fella that says its wrong is History. Arguing over religion has caused more deaths then anything. Crusades world wars its the biggest political tool ever devised. Keep repeating it not me.
BaldEagle841 1 year ago
@BaldEagle841 ah i see so you'd rather everyone just went about blindly accepting what they were told without their views ever being challenged by someone else with a different opinion. we should all be quiet lest *shock horror* someone actually be offended. thats just pathetic. in a free society we do not have the right NOT to be offended. its called free speech, and if no-one ever said anything that made us uncomfortable or question our values then we really are no better than dumb beasts

So a Atheist who does not believe in any religion can inform others about religion? This is not a good idea people. This guy is not saving anyone time, more like wasting people time. Allow people to believe in what they want. Allah, JAH, Buddha, whatever you believe in.
Aliceloves1 2 years ago
Atheists, and anyone else can inform people about other topics, but that does not mean that the person or people they are talking to have to agree with them. This is saving peoples time who may be interested in the Scientology cult, as well as saving them the rediculous fee's that apply for "testing if your right for scientology". Nothing good comes from the group. The "test" for scientology is about 500 questions, I took it before to see what it was, and it took over an hour to complete.
1rishShaman 2 years ago 35
After those 500 questions, you are automaticly "accepted" as someone who would "benifit" from Scientology (proven), and you get harrassing e-mails (which I still to this day recieve) from your nearest Scientology centre, who arrange meetings for you, without your prior concent. Sorry, but there is a BIG difference between modern day religions, which have benifits, and cults, like scientology, which do not.
1rishShaman 2 years ago 22

I think I know why so many "celebrities" join this cult!, they are so bored with there rich pampered lives they need something to do with their unlimited free time and money. lol.
Vogeybear 1 year ago
@Aliceloves1 It is because an atheist doesn't believe in religion that they can inform others, an Atheist will just objectively inform you of what each religion is about. They don't try to convert you so you can understand more about that religion rather than someone talking about how great it is.
angrynutrients 1 year ago
@Aliceloves1 First of all it's AN atheist not A atheist. Bad grammar = moronic generation. Secondly, they are informing not trying to convert. They state FACTS that's it, something that someone who is in a religion has no definition for.
calaberman 1 year ago
@calaberman "Bad grammar = moronic generation"
I'd perhaps agree if that were pluralised: "moronic generations". People have been butchering languages for some time now, and it's not just young people. Admittedly, many young people twist them until they're completely unrecognisable, but more minor errors are made by any generation alive today. I like to consider myself separate from these butchers, as I suspect you do. Maybe it's better to keep it at an individual level: "Bad grammar = moron".

@ScotsmanRS Dude.. you realize this is YouTube not an English class to earn my Master's, you still failed to rebuttal my statement.
calaberman 1 year ago
@calaberman You are a fucking idiot. Perhaps you should spend more time in an English class: if you had, you'd realise that I was actually agreeing with you. If you weren't so defensive and anxious to criticise, that would help too.

@ScotsmanRS LOL. Dude. I thought it was the person I replied to. -_-

@calaberman I suspected that, but what can I say; I am a hypocrite: being overly defensive is fun, and "You are a fucking idiot" is an incredible sentence.

@ScotsmanRS Yes, that sentence really makes someone second guess.. Take care, peace.
calaberman 1 year ago
@calaberman
I just want to point out that an ellipsis is supposed to have 3 dots, you used a comma where you should have used a semicolon, and rebuttal is a noun, not a verb. You should have said "rebut" instead of "rebuttal". Also, you made an inappropriate use of an ellipsis.

An Atheist speaking about religion is like the KKK talking about Jena 6. This video is pretty old. I am not a Scientologist but I think everyone has their own right to choose.
Aliceloves1 2 years ago
"An Atheist speaking about religion is like the KKK talking about Jena 6." That entire statement is flawed. For instance, comparing Atheists to the KKK racist, homophobic wastes of life, holds no water. Scientology is in no form a "religion". A religion brings hope (even if it may possibly be false) and helps towards it's own community, that is a given understanding, even to Atheists.
However Scientology is just an insane cult, with policies that are even more insane, such as -
1rishShaman 2 years ago 17
Their policy of "no modern day medicine". John Travolta's Son died from an epileptic seizure that could have been easily treated and prevented through modern medicine... instead it was treated with vitamins... Surely that, along with other documented deaths is cause for notable concern?

@Aliceloves1 An atheist speaking about religion is like someone who doesn't do drugs talking about all the negative effects.
Because they don't do drugs then they can clearly understand the negative effects about them, whereas a junkie may be so helplessly stuck in their situation they may be in denial about much of it.
sk8tafrnk 11 months ago
@Aliceloves1 Also, everyone DOES have the right to choose. Russel and Matt understand this right. But in America for example (where the show is hosted) people do NOT have the right to impose their beliefs on other people without any logical reasoning. Which is exactly what Christians frequently do.
The Atheist Experience isn't out to change peoples minds. If you ACTUALLY believe in your religion, people talking about it not being real should not threaten your position.
sk8tafrnk 11 months ago
@Aliceloves1
The KKK is a hate group. Atheists aren't a hate group. I'm sure there are Atheists that are hateful of religion just like there are those who simply deem it silly. I categorize myself as one of the latter.
June28July 9 months ago
@Aliceloves1
JamesCizuz 8 months ago
@Aliceloves1
JamesCizuz 8 months ago
