I'm not sure where to find the lg modem software anymore. The original link has been lost/changed or somthing. Google is ur best friend just search for the lg xenon modem software and you will find it. I believe the lg xenon website may have the software download. This video was two years ago and I have been thru ten phones since then.

There is no cons really. The phone is plugged into the computer so it charges the whole time you are using it. As far as heat goes I didn't really notice any. So all pros no cons.

What is the connection speed like? I have unlimited data from AT&T but accessing the web from the phone's browser is quite slow. Is the speed any better on the computer when it uses the phone's internet connection?

@gumgajua You have to have a data plan ( internet on your phone) for it to work. If you dont have an unlimited Data plan, Your wireless provider will charge if you go over your limt foe the basic data plan.

my computers windows 7 home preminium dosent " show all connection " option so what do i do after i download the file and install it????

@ThePein911 I am not to familiar with windows 7 yet. you can probably look in the device manager under modems and find it, that is if you have already installed the usb software and ran the new connection wizard to detect and setup the connection to the modem on your phone. let me know if this helps. it took me a little messing around to get it to work properly and every computer i have used this connection on, is a little different to setup.

@ThePein911 You probably downloaded a bad file. make sure it is the usb modem software before you download it.

Hey i installed the driver, my phone is plugged in, and i ran the wizard but what do i click on for the wizard???

@piegames1 Look in you downloads folder in your documents and it should be in there. also you can go to the device manager and find the software

the only video on how to tether the xenon, it took me a few weeks of research to figure out how to do this. and yes i uploaded this video using my 3g connection on my lg xenon the best cell ive had yet.
