  • 100 years ago we were naive, we couldn't understand all the dirty games of Emperyalist powers , because of them our nations became enemy to each other , they seperated us from each other ; where we lived together with friendship, love, respect, peace for centuries..

But we are smarter now !

So.. go play your games in someplace else..

I love our Armenian, Greek and all Anatolian brothers and sisters..We are so much alike!

Long Live Brotherhood of Nations of Anatolia !

  • @canimulkem great comments. i commend you.

    AND WONDERFUL VIDEO!!

  • correction, I wrote it wrong;

    Ataturk said;

PEACE AT HOME...PEACE IN THE WORLD !

  • @tHeWasTeDYouTh you stupid turk you stole Armenian tradition, food and culture and you stole Armenian pretty girls because turk girls are hairy and ugly ok so shut the fuck up look at your culture you are yezdi azara sikim, shut up yaziklar olsun

  • I love Armenian boys, they are so family oriented,

I hope one day to meet Armenian boyfriend.

  • TRI VOLASATIYE ARMYASHKI BLIN !

  • This is my most favorite Armenian traditional folk dance. I just love it !

I enjoy watching it and I watch it very often…Such a beautiful music and dance ..so elegant.. …

  • jaaaaan!!! :D

  • Tash Tush! Jan. Apres...

  • How cute! I love the costumes, and the choreography is so much fun! Some of the movement reminds me of Irish step, which I used to do when I was younger. :D

  • @canimulkem they love the Turk cock

  • @tHeWasTeDYouTh

I hope you are not a Turk! I would be dissappointed ;if you are.

You should be ashamed writing stupid comments like that. How would you like it if other people write irrespectful things like that for your Nation? How would you feel?

Please remove that comment and learn to respect other cultures , humanbeings. We are all part of the big Family !

I am hoping you will do the right thing!

  • @canimulkem I would feel nothing if someone (Armenian/ Greek/Assyrian) pig said something bad about Turkey because we cleaned Anatolia from christian pigs. There is not a single christian in Anatolia and sooner or later there will no Greece or Armenia

  • @tHeWasTeDYouTh

    I don't believe , you are Turk!

True Turk wouldn't be saying hateful things like you do. Only in Istanbul we have 80 churches for Christians, I am not even saying the ones in all country. We are tolerated , respectful, peaceful nation. Our leader Ataturk said ; Peace at World. Peace in the World. That word engraved in every Turk's heart.

You are someone trying to create hate between Turks and Armenians . You couldn't handle to see my (Turk) peaceful comment here.

  • shat lav em aper

  • Seriously, I don't know how these girls aren't famous. This is just damn sexy!!!!!! Belly dancing doesn't even come close!!! Grace, elegance and complete confidence= just damn sexy and the definition of Armenian women! VAY VAY VAY lol These are women, not the desire objects so many other dances portray women as. Aprek!

  • they are NOT sexy. Armenian girl has many other privilegies ;)

  • @ARMENIANYAN there is nothing bad or vulgar in looking sexy, even for Armenian girls :)

  • Shad lav gu baren! They are so dainty and graceful - love the yellow dresses, too! Wonderful! :) Makes you proud to watch this form of dance. :)

  • Oh my god! What are you saying? Who wants Armenia? The kurds? You are not serious. Kurds and Armenian are the most old people in these lands. There enough places for eeryone.

And i never said that this was kurdish music, i just said that sound like it. And i think it's quite logical because of the proximity and influences of people to each others for thousand years.

  • Hey Hayaser don't speak for me. I'm armenian and I'll totally tolerate it. Atomsko I'm a pushover... You could probably steal some of my land and get away with it... don't worry about it man. Just don't touch my daughters! *frown*

  • Wow that's sounds and looks so kurdish! (or kurdish sounds like armenian). Anyway i love you armenian brothers and sisters!

  • great performance. does anyone know the songs that they are danceing to?

  • jan hayer jan Armeni en force mishtt

  • Wow!!!!!!!!!!!

    ich liebe diese Tänze !!!!!!

  • Bullshit!! armenian people hate Turkey! my family is half- armenian, so I know everything about this culture. Armenia long time ago was the biggest country in west asia. More bigger then Turkey now. In 1921 Turkish ,,mada fakers" kill 1/3 of armenian population, they also kill animals, just beacause they was armenian... they kill chirdlen like a pigs... ;( so, Poland hate Germany, Portugal hate Spain, and Armenia hate Turkey.

  • beautiful..!!!!!!!!!!!!1

    GOD BLESS ARMENIA

  • apreq HAYUHI aghjikner, es dzer cave tanem, dzer hezatchkun u nazani parerov tndacnenq getinn u urakhacneq mez boloris, lcneq hoginers u srtners sirov ev urakhutyamb.

  • que bonita cancion y que lindo bailan ;)

  • You may call this Armenian but this is a dance typical for all Eastern Mediterranean nations, including Greece, Turkey, and even Iraq..

  • I don't mean to question, but I think you might be a little misinformed. Greece does have this dance along with many other Orthodox nations (Serbia,Russia, etc), but muslim nations like Turkey do not. You would not find women there with the freedom to show there faces, let alone dance.

  • I am not misinformed, but saw it with mt own eyes. Turkish women dance just like Greeks and the debate of showing of their faces is not even worth to mention, they of course do!!!! Turkey is on the map between Armenia and the Orthodox countries you mention so it might be the link of the spread..

  • I wish your response wasn't so defensive, but there are more inaccuracies in it. Before Turkey, Armenia and other nomadic tribes bordered Greece; Turkey is only in that area because of Serbs and Greeks pushing them out(Ottoman Empire) of Europe and Arabs pushing them north. They may have picked it up but it is not a staple of their culture. All I know about there dancing is that there men like to twirl in circles.

  • silly cat is correct..turkish dance is very similar and goes back many, many years..they didnt "pick it up". It is more of a subculture now and dancers are not well respected. As for the "em twirling in circles" they whirling dervish is more a ritual than dance.

  • Sorry incorrect again, you have to READ! I don't mean to be rude, but women dancing in a muslim nation...Please! Line dances stem from orthodox countries. Turkey along with many other muslim nations would never allow anything like this, granted today they are more open to the idea, but back then it was considered an act of lesser people. I'm sorry but this dancing is the back bone of man christian cultures, not muslim, they're what we say in armenian "het engaz"

  • Like I said...a subculture=act of lesser people. Same thing. Not mainstream. Not widely accepted. There is a long history of Turkish dance..you may know about culture but you may NOT know about dance. I am Armenian and even I can acknowledge there is much history in Turkish dance as it is very similar and in many instances the SAME as traditional Armenian dance.

  • Well said!

  • @sillyfatcat That's a BIG lie.It's pure Armenian dance.WE know how other nations dance.Don't Bul$%T here!

  • Dancing is beautiful... the cash on the floor concerns me.

  • beauties!!!

  • This IS ARMENIAN DANCING !!!!!! Not that belly dancing shit! Compare the videos and it's easy to see why these women are so incredibly sexy!! It's body language, not body appearances! beautiful just plain F-ing beautiful!!! It speaks to my soul!

  • Azeri music??? Since when is any "Azeri music" song in Armenian!?!? With Armenian lyrics? Armenian melody? Armenian dancing?

    You wish!

  • Elcincik and Azeriplace: Are you that ashamed of your culture, that you would go on an Armenian video and pretend that those are your people and your music? This must be a very good video, with excellent dancing and beautiful girls, that you would pretend they are really azeri when they are obviously NOT.

  • lavessss.....cavat tanem aghchikjan!

  • Jillina belly dancers group in LA, CA

  • @xlucy818x The troupe's name is the Sahlala Dancers :)

  • A very graceful dance, and the girls performed beautifully. A culture that produces this kind of art has something to be proud of.

  • I have Armanian friends.

And I first thought this was Turkish,

now I know that they all stole the Armanian pride.

    xx

  • Armenian, sorry.

    xx

  • como se llama la cancion y el interprete?gracias.

    ezequiel hadjinian.

  • We have been friends , neigbours and brothers for hundrets of years. We must not let those politcs of hate come between neigbours. mongoloid turks must return to their homelands MONGOLIA. Or USA together with the jews if they wish. I mean they like them anyway. "Triple Alliance": The US, Turkey, Israel

    Google for it!

  • Also it is wrong for us to think Islam has anything to do with the genocide. Those mongoloid turks aren't even moslim nation, they are nationalists. And asskissers of USA and Israel. Moslims like Iran and Lebanon recognise the genocide unlike a lot of Christian countrys. What they want is for us to hate moslims and moslims to hate us. We must prevent that!

  • Guys there is no doubt Georgian dances and Dagystan are the best. I am Armenian, but we must admit they have better rythm and is mutch faster.

  • North Caucasian dance is different from Armenian, but not much. It is very beautiful too. We should not be so arrogant

  • Your comment say that you don't understand the language of the body and dance, You can't even different movement which complitly describe the feelings of heart and soul.

  • niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • turks are muslim, and like all muslim nations women dance belly dance, and men don't dance, they watch...turks and azeris steal armenian culture to become "democratic".....

  • mscgino, I suppose georgian music and dance is ok...but it doesn't impress me hell of a lot. All our neighbors have been influenced by our culture but a copy is never the same as the genuine material.

  • guys i think armenian dance is much better and famous than goergian dances, isnt it?

  • OMG HAVE YOU SEEN VANOUSH KHANAMIYAN'S DANCE SCHOOL IN La DANCE THIS DANCE? ITS PERFECTTTTT SO NICEEE

  • why do turks always try to steal armenian dances? music? go make your own losers. THIS IS PURE ARMENIAN WAS AND WILL BE.

  • First off, what's the the song that the girls are dancing to?

To all the people who are debating whether or not this is a turkish or armenian dance, let me make one thing clear. Over the years, cultures are exposed to others and eventually aspects of other cultures are integrated into their own. it's the same thing with every other culture. It's not stealing and it's not wrong, it's natural. Have enough respect for people who post their videos on this site to keep it off their page.

  • there is nothing turkish here that i see

    NO TURKISH ALLOWED

    THIS IS PURE ARMENIAN SONG

PURE ARMENIAN LADYS' DANCING A PURE ARMENIAN DANCE

    LISTEN TO THE ARMENIAN INSTRUMENTS

    ZURNA,DHOL,...

  • To all those that think there is slightest similarity in Armenian music/dance with turkish....please type in "the turkish courtship ritual" on YouTube search and please refrain from ever making idiotic comparisons. Thank you in advance.

  • "This may be Turk or Armenian song and dance, but the actual dancers themselves are American."

"OMG, I think some posters here missed the point completely"

    :))))

  • OMG, I think some posters here missed the point completely. This may be Turk or Armenian song and dance, but the actual dancers themselves are American. Jeez people get a life and stop complaining. These girls worked hard and put on a beautiful show. Is there a need for such foul language?

  • Such filthy mouths on these turkish savages. They can not exercise a moment of intellectual observance of anything. Here we are in a public domain discussing the beauty in other cultures and they proceed to spew filth once more from there festering excrement hole they refer to as a mouth. Most Turks are actually quite nice, it is these muslim extremist imbociles that refuse to aknowledge other cultures.

  • What are these turks doing on Youtube? I thought their government doesn't allow it anymore>???

  • my group dances under dis song too and i love it. good job girls, props.

  • ..hey "Marochoy25"..you ignorant diaper head bastard, this is for you ------>Այս քունված մուսուլմանի ղորաան գիրքի վրեն շրել պետքա !!....if you wondered what I said...I simply wished a "soggy" day for you....now go read your holy book and kindly get lost !
