You may call this Armenian but this is a dance typical for all Eastern Mediterranean nations, including Greece, Turkey, and even Iraq..

I don't mean to question, but I think you might be a little misinformed. Greece does have this dance along with many other Orthodox nations (Serbia,Russia, etc), but muslim nations like Turkey do not. You would not find women there with the freedom to show there faces, let alone dance.

Before Turkey, Armenia and other nomadic tribes bordered Greece; Turkey is only in that area because of Serbs and Greeks pushing them out(Ottoman Empire) of Europe and Arabs pushing them north. They may have picked it up but it is not a staple of their culture. All I know about there dancing is that there men like to twirl in circles.

There is a long history of Turkish dance..you may know about culture but you may NOT know about dance.
