Sorry Senator Whitmer but you didnt think it was a bad idea from the start, you thought that the 13.85% surcharge was too low, and that you would have preferred the 32.9% surcharge tax the Democrats in the State house originally proposed, thats why you voted FOR the 32.9% surcharge tax originally in the first version of the bill the house sent to the senate. You cant have it both ways, either your for it or against it.  Your voting record says for it, so you must be for it.
