There are so few moments like these. There are such few chances we have anymore to really experience something that is at once fully visceral and jarring but pure and true. I don't know the story behind this composition, but I know what it makes me feel.
Maybe you guys can help me out. I heard a song at their concert but can not recall the name. It starts off with only the bass, later piano and drums begin to play. in the end Reid is the only one playing again. the song finished by him not giving the audience the final note they desired – so genious!
There's a version of this song on their "Bootleg" album (first album) that I am SO anxious to know whether or not it's the same version. The version on 'These Are the Vistas" is so incredible. I like the live version for different reasons. But I'd love to know if that version on the Bootleg album is the same. (Been trying to track it down for years, but it's out of print.)
@devron i first heard them on the radio playing this track, but i missed the start, so when the song ended and the applause began, i was completely knocked out, i just couldn't believe it was live !

Kind of like a piano and a drum kit having a boxing match.

"Silence is the Question... Love is the Answer. "
I'm thankful every day that I happen to take my ride on planet Earth at the same time that Reid Anderson does.
