@koalajones88 what areyou taking about i'm a big fan of steve perry i was taking about the gut they got now i'm sorry bout i dont like him ,i love steve perry i wish he did not leave but for some rison it did not work out with them, but i will always love steve perry
Didn't you guys listen to any of the early Journey? It's a little harder and in my opinion more soulful than their newer pop stuff. This is one of their old songs. They didn't even know what a Steve Perry was when they wrote this.
Steve Perry was the thing that held Journey together they blow without him I wish he would return to the band cause their new lead singer will never measure up to Steve
Great old stuff. It's too bad most people have never heard this side of Journey. All they think of is Don't Stop Believin' and Faithfully. Journey used to be a fantastic 70's jam band.

Great post Dude. Shame Neal's solo is so hard to hear, almost completely drowned by the bass and drums. Still, great to hear it anyway.

It's credited to Greg Rolie.
Are you thinking of "It's All Too Much"? That's track 2 on the album, and it's written by George Harrison.

I seen this tour. It was in Seattle, at the Arena not the Coliseum. They blew the roof off.
I walked right into the building with a full bag of camera gear and just went right up to the stage.

Yep, that is how he sounded in 1979! (almost 30 years of mileage that he didn't have on his voice)
