I don't understand what the point of this exercise would be. Can someone enlighten me as to why they would go to these extremes to fake the rapture? what are they going to do? make people float into the sky and disappear without a trace? why?

There is a fatal flaw in this whole idea. Power/Wattage/Energy. Satellites have limited energy to do what they describe in this video. To hologram the entire planet? Do you know how much energy they would need? Allot. Solar cells on satellites won't cut it. Each satellite involved is GONNA need a huge nuclear pack attached to it. Extra weight at launch, means extra cost. ...
No source, just another paranoid CT'er that thinkers people, even with the internet will be stupid enough to believe that NASA and the government will be able to pull this off in any convincing way without any preliminary testing. Not to mention the amount of calculations it would take to effect multiple parts of the world in different time zones with different lighting situations.
