Girl scouts dont come in my neighborhood... But if they did I would buy them just to piss people off. Given that child is to young to have made a decision like that. The parents should have waited till the kid was older to make that decision and know the conseqences. I dont think no kid should be going through that at such a young age. But if people dont like you for one reason its another, smh! Shouldnt be focused on how others living their life.
@4EverEdward: You should read up on facts and procedure, me thinks. Gender awareness and identity form as early as 18 months. Letting a child live as the want to does no harm -- They pass well. Then, if they still identify as the opposite gender when it comes time for puberty, they're put on puberty blockers. Then, if they still identify as the opposite gender at age 14-16, cross-sex puberty is initiated.
I hear the age case a lot, but the procedures and standards are solid.
