Laut meiner Infos (Motor-Talk Forum) wird wird eine sogenannte Soundpipe verbaut. Das ist eine Verbindung zwischen Ansaugtrakt und Innenraum, die durch eine Membran luftdicht verschlossen ist. Da geht tatsächlich ein Rohr durch die Spritzwand. Im Innern der Soundpipe befindet sich noch eine Art Filter um aus der Ansaugluftbewegung den gewünschten Sound zu erzeugen.
@IIFedyaII Jap, die BMW Diesel klingen ganz anders und nageln nicht so wie ein LKW. Aber man muss dazu sagen, dass der Audi keinen wirklichen Lautsprecher hat, sondern eine Membran, die durch Schwingungen den Sound verändert.

Hier ist ganz klar ein richtig echtes Fake am Werk, das sagen sie bei Audi sogar. Beim Golf6 GTD wird ja nur der Sound im Innenraum beeinflusst, beim GTI ist es sogar nur eine Art Schallbrücke in den Innenraum durch ein Röhrchen - aber das beim neuen A6 3.0 TDI ist ein richtiges Fake für den AGA-Sound für draußen.
@housemusic01988 Das war eher eine Richtigstellung, weil ich glaube, dass die Leute hier wirklich glauben, dass da so ein Lautsprecher drin ist, wie du ihn mit Strom an deiner Stereoanlage betreibst. Das beides vom Funktionsprinzip identisch ist, das ist klar. Ich wollte bloß klarmachen, dass hier kein Strom am Werk ist.
@Atomameise93 Ui, dann habe ich dich falsch verstanden! Danke für die Info, dann werd ich mich nochmal schlau machen. Hast du ggf eine Quelle, dass da wirklich kein Strom am Werk ist? Das kann cih fast nicht glauben - das wäre ja sogar noch okay! Ich habe auch gedacht, es würd über einen Chip gesteuert (mit Strom)
The actuators just cut away the annoying frequences...what's wrong with it? I like that sound better...even knowing that it's fake, I'd take it over the original...
@Rijecanin1980 not realy new. Mercedes and BMW got twin turbos for about 8-9 years by now.
Sounds nice, but to be honest, i don't want my diesel to sound like that...if you want a diesel that sounds like a v8, get a Merc or a Toyota Landcruiser V8 D-4D
@NFreund just buy a A8 v8 tdi ;-) Stronger anf faster than toyota - and better looking ;-) Benz and BMW doesnt have a V8 Diesel anymore. Mercedes dont have twinturbo diesel engines(V6) only BMW 35d. strongest Merc Diesel is 350cdi with 265hp. BMW 535d does have 313HP now too
@jojajo2707 Well, i did not knew that audi still makes a v8 TDI^^ nice to know ;-) Mercedes got Twinturbo Diesels too. The 220 CDI and the 250 CDI got TT's. The Merc 350 CDI is since 2005 on the market and even compares not that bad to both of the 3.0 TDI Bi-Turbo and the 35d BMW. I've just read and watched some tests, and actually i have driven the 35d and the 350 CDI.
@NFreund i know. Benz only have TT on inline 4 Diesel like u said. The torgue of the 350cdi is amazing. it have 620NM and its just single turbo engine. tt 35d have 620 too and the Audi have with tt 650NM. Audi have a 6.0 V12 Diesel too. This engine is amazing. 500HP and 1000NM of torgue u can fit in that engine in a train ;-)
@jojajo2707 the torque of the inline 4 is amazing too, i've seen and driven the 190D 250CDI, that the engineers in stuttgart build for testint purpouse, it is astonishing what 500 NM can do with just 1200 kg of car and still only uses 4 liters of fuel at 100 km. If driven carefully the engineere said, it can get under 3 liters! Yes, i'm not sure, but i think the 350 CDI (OM642) delivers the power more evenly then the 35d. In my opinion the 6.0 V12 Diesel sounds like shit :D
