Instant Kill Exor Battle

Wouldn't exactly call it a bug, considering it says at the beginning of the battle "The EYE is protecting Exor!!" Therefore killing the eye, makes him vulnerable ;). Unless it should be interpreted as taking out both eyes.

@ppeach404 I don't know the specifics, but I do know why it works on enemies. Hitting it at the right time was supposed to add an extra 150 damage to the move, but it somehow glitched so instead, it was at the maximum amount of damage the game allowed. (9999) As for why it works on Exor, I have no idea. Maybe because he has so many multiple parts to attack?

@lolirockso its the Lazy Shell. you have to use the seed you get on Bean Hill and the Fertelizer from someone in Moleville i think. then you give both to the guy in the house to the upper right in Rose Town. when the beanstalk grows theres 2 chests with 1 lazy shell weapon for mario and 1 lazy shell armor for any character. the lazy shell armor, while having immense defense, reduces your attack by a lot as well.

@ElitevsNinja I think they made it that way on purpose. Exor's pretty tough; the eyes are protecting it, both they and the mouth can cast powerful spells with status effects, and even if you knock all three out, they recover in a few turns. And, Exor has really high defense I think (been a while since I fought him), so even your best attacks won't do too much damage. On top of that, you just had a boss battle before facing him. Geno Whirl's critical is possible, if only to make the fight easier.

@robg5555 What would be MORE "instant" would be to equip Mario and Bowser with the Attack Scarf, Feather, or Zoom Shoes and have them knock out one of the eyes. Then use Geno Whirl on Exor. Or better yet, Mario with Feather or Attack Scarf Super Jumps the eye out (takes about 20 depending on the level), then Geno with Feather or Zoom Shoes using the Geno Whirl on Exor. If all goes right, none of Exor's parts will be able to attack.

@Towerofhera after you beat Valentina in Numbus land you run to the one side of the castle and you should see a shy guy with a watering can and he gives you a seed and you take that see to i think rose town to a house in the back and the house has a warp pipe and you talk to the warp pipe and you automatically put the seed in and he should grow a vine and you climb up the vine to the sky and the lazy shell should be up there. I will try to upload a video on how to get the lazy shell.

@PetraFan6000 You get the seed from the "letter" you get after defeating MegaSmilax. Once you defeat Valentina, exit the castle and go to the far right and head down until you start walking on air. After that, a remaining Shy Guy will notice you.

@PetraFan6000 THe Shy Guy will notice that he had been caught, and give you a bag of cow dung (fertilizer) to make the plant grow. Give them both to the insane gardener and the vine grows. Climb the vine out of the chimney and in the clouds. There are 2 chests up there. Both labeled, "Lazy Shell." Grab them.

@StarCraft708 Don't judge the timed hit based on when it leaves the screen. Depending on where Geno IS on the screen, that distance can vary greatly. Instead, see that little orange explosion that appears when you use Geno Whirl? RIGHT as it would appear is when you hit the button.

i never finished this game :( i started and got pretty far then my data got erased i started again and my data was again erased i played a 3rd time and got up to six stars and again my goddamn data got erased!!! still it is my all time favorite mario game i always use geno and i prefer using bowser as a tank mixed with geno as strength
