Gamestop sold out of MW3 Hardened Edition (the version that comes with the Elite service) and pre-orders are almost out. So yeah, COD fans (myself included) have no problem shelling the $50. But.... the show is the least popular reason to get Elite. It's the DLC we get.
Tim, Nice summary of the YouTube's published tips for Video SEO. A little of your added info helps folks understand even better than the written info from YouTube. Plus, honestly, many of us just don't have the time to read it all... so your summary is very helpful to many.
I've experienced that having consistent TAGS from video to video (when you publish enough related videos) really seems to help.. be sure the "Chosen" Tags are worthy of repeating though. They should be "high value" keywords.
For youtube ad money they'll get like $1 per 1000 views (People say $2.50 per 1k, but I find it is more like $1). so a major hit would be, say 10 million view... let's say they make 20 of these videos. 200 million views.... $200,000. To garner the same money, they'd only need 4000 people to pay $50. I think it's a safe assumption that for this brand, there would be a LOT more than 4,000 people buying the $50 version. However, there might be brand building benefits to doing the non-paid.
Do views directly count towards SEO on youtube or the SEO of a video on Google?
I'm not talking about indirectly, like more views leads to more comment and ratings or subscribers but directly, so if ALL things are equal and one video had 1,000 views and the other 10,000 would the later have better SEO?
@kingoftutt Clearly - to your point, there are a lot of indirect reasons that it may help with SEO... However, to answer your question, views is thought to be one of many factors for YouTube search, so the assumption is that all things else being equal, a video with 10K views would outrank one with 1000.... but there are sooo many other factors (likes ration, comments, frequency, general SEO stuff, etc....)...
Stupid move. I will never pay for subscription on videos and I think it's a dumb move. I agree with you. Had it been free on the tube it would be brilliant. I'd watch it even though I don't play that game and free content has(in my book) proven to be king.
once again, amazing work. you and the team at Reel SEO are inspiring the shit out of me! :)

Very good. How do you add the links box to your video?
ajay05161 5 months ago
@ajay05161 You just put them in the description box for your video. You need to start all of them with h t t p so it will turn into a link.

@ajay05161 at the end? I think you mean annotations?
