When I was younger i didnt understand any of this myself lol It is obvious that Karasu suffers from psychopathy and is indeed in love with Kurama, however; not in the normal sense of the word. more-so for domination, power or sadistic reasons. but he also states that he finds kurama's face comforting (who wouldn't? ;)) They are also very charismatic in order to ensnare the victim.

I think that it's great that an anime this old has homo-eroticism in it. That said, it's also possible that Karasu is the type of demon that uses sexuality as a lure for prey. Many demons of ancient mythology are this way, and it's not clear whether or not sexuality is any more than a weapon of mind trickery for them.

As for Kurama, if I were to put my money on it, I'd say that his like for floral weapons, scents, and intellectual conversations raises a gaydar eyebrow...

I never really thought of him as gay when I watched the Japanese version, oddly enough. I'll watch it again, but I think his dialogue could be interpreted to mean he just likes Kurama as a person. In any case, unlike Jakotsu, I genuinely like him as a character, and Horikawa Ryou's performance, even though it's not featured here, is eerie.
