the only thing i dont like about zante is there is to many english people there apart from that it is a beautiful place

I was last there last June, at that time the new arrivals area was open. Don't know anything about a new terminal. As far as I'm aware, there's no room for a new terminal.

Last time I flew there (June '07) People weren't allowed to use their cameras while landing or taking off.

Departures lounge is ready for next season and a parallel new runway is the next move of the new goverment.

Departures lounge is at a no go at the moment. The last I heard was the government was refusing to give the funds for the work to be carried out.

Ooh. zakynthos, Ive been there twice, its amazing. I Love it. The approach is quite good, very close to the sea, I Think it has a short runway, because when i landed both times the reverse thrust must have been doing overtime! i mean jeeze. and the brakes.

the runway ain't that short, believe it or not it has more runway than than landing aircrafts need. i know this because i seen a dc-10 my travel land there and a 767 thomsonfly!!!

Last time I went (June 2007) use of recording and electronic equipment wasn't allowed. I don't know if that varies from airline to airline I travelled with Monarch air.
