  • Bread will not cause her bsl (blood sugar level) to rise quickly. They should have given her a glucagon injection (as she was unconscious). If she has still been conscious then appropriate treatment would be something containing sugar (sweets, lollies, lemonade) to get her bsl up quickly followed by complex carbohydrate(to prevent a hypo happening again).

  • she should have told her friends what to do when she passes out. my son is 13 and just got type 1 and I told his friends what to do. and we always carry glucagon, glucose gel, juice and skittles - nuff said

  • A Piece of BREAD????? What are you gonna do, shove it down her throat? LMAO..... how about CALL 911 and tell them that you have an unconsious diabetic on your hands. They probably would've told you to wait for an ambulance and maybe try to find some orange juice or mix sugar with water and rub it on her lips and in the mouth. Or... IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING....... give her her emergengy glucagon injection...... if her diabetes is poorly controlled, she should carry it with her at all times

  • It scared me to watch that, because I am also hypoglycemic and came close to having my first attack today at work.

  • i am hypoglycaemic and it affects everyone differently but can cause seizures, i have nearly fitted and stopped breathing. if it is fake then they are stupid but you cant say it is fake unless you were there and know for sure :)

  • hypocondriact

  • Ya don't yell HELP! You get on the phone and call 991

  • its 911 stupid

  • oh shut up nobody's perfect and look who's talking, your stupid

  • a piece of bread... wtf.. maybe if they want her to choke and aspirate..

  • @idigghx they said bread because it automatically turns to sugar. if they give her pure sugar it may make her feel better for a little bit but she will just go back to having another attack or just feeling really shitty. trust me i know.

  • I am in complete agreement with everyone because I have seizures and I know!!!! Why are there so many people out there rooting for her and saying that it was real? Also, I thought it was funny how drugged up she was after she came back from the hospital. Definately on some form of opiates. She looked as if to be drunk and kept on scratching her nose, tell tale signs. I have never been given OPIATES! after a seizure!! No matter how bad I complain about the pain. Maybe LA ER's are different

  • hyper-gluglumic- nat haha

  • NOT real. And, how convenient that she

passes out" by a door that blocks camera view??? WHATEVER.

  • Hypogglycemia causes a decreased loc, not seizures. That's not like any seizure I've ever seen. I've been an EMT for a very long time and witnessed more than my share. That was staged, it was not real, I don't care who claims it was. Anyone that is truly having a seizure, is not going to turn their body as she did toward the female kneeling along side her. That was a controlled move, not a move caused by a sizure. Did she lose bodily function, urinate, bowels? I doubt we'll ever know! FAKE!

  • I agree with you, I have epilepsy and hypoglycemia and when I go into a seizure I do not pass out first. My boyfriend thinks that she is for real but I know what happens and he should know too because he's the one there when I have a seizure. I turn my head to the left as if I am looking over my shoulder, my eyes flutter and I tighten up my body and usually sprain my muscles, If I am standing up I fall directly to the floor but I do not pass out, I convulse and flop around.

  • fake. That is not what happens when someone is hypoglycemic.
