When my son made his second confession at the age of 10 the very kind and gentle priest kept him in the confessional for 30 minutes. He wanted to give him xtra attention since we were foreigners to the country at easter time and we needed an english speaking priest. Little did he know that my son is claustrophobic and by the time he came out was literally green around the gills. He almost threw up and passed out. I had to fan him out in the court yard with a flock of priests and nuns watching!

I wish that I have made my first confession when I was six years old, but I had to wait till I was 15.

@dkc2lover It is never too early or too late for your first confession. I made mine when I was nine years old.
