How can some people look at that face and say to themselves "I'm going to bash this cute and defensless seals head in just because some rich bitch can parade around wearing its coat just to make up for beauty that they would obviously lack on the inside and out. Whats up with the Canadians and seals..I mean just because this has been practiced for like ever does not mean it really is necessary..allot has changed including the weather(global warming) so the BS of culling populations doesn't fly anymore!!

I cant say I support this ban. It'll ruin the seal industry in Canada but more importantly the fishing industry will face a major crisis! Polar bears were the natural predators of seals but since global warming is happening, and now with the seal industry practically doomed, practically no one will be hunting the seals! Which means they're going to eat fish, lots of wish. They're damn wasteful eaters and will cause a commotion in the fishing industry.

If kill seals is cruelty, then kill any animal is cruelty. I agree with kerokittycat. The only reason why people are against this hunt is because of their cute look.

Killing seals is not cruelty, nor immoral, nor savage. This is not a "massacre" like some people say.

Don't forget that animals are also massively killed in butcheries (slaughterhouses) . So, why do the seals defenders don't fight against that? Explain me.

Why would i have too? Because of someone that is so misinformed/brainwashed about something that happens all around the world,{The harvesting of animals that is},Whether it is strictly for fur & or meat,It is as humane as or more than the killing of the majority of animals selected for harvesting,& To think that someone can sit down & watch a few videos here on you tube & consider themselves educated on such activities & then tell someone to change their whole life because they say "its wrong".

The hunt will not stop because of the bannishment. It only mean the hunters will export somewhere else, thank god. Once again in this ad, you see no reason why it is cruelty. Oh really? How do you explain out of 280,000 seals allowed to be slaughtered this year, about 75,000 were killed. And that was just from the threat of a ban. Pelt prices are so low this year ($15 each, down from almost $100 three years ago) that sealers admit they would not even break even. With this ban, seal products are not even allowed to be transported through EU countries to go anywhere else. The large scale "hunt" is over. sorry canadian.

It's true. The seal slaughter is happening right now in Canada with an early start in March. It goes on for weeks, and the quota this year is 300,000. Please help Canada to stop this horror, because the majority of us DO NOT support it.
