@GakupoFangirl602 - you need to remove the soaked bandaids/dressings and then apply fresh ones until it stops. If it doesn't, keep changing it every two soaked dressings.

OK, so. How does bleeding stop? the platelets clot the injury so the blood stays in your body. Now, if you WET the injury, you are going to wipe away the clotting process and it will bleed more. You WANT the blood to clot hence NO MORE BLEEDING. When you wipe use a DRY STERILE bandage. Lift the cut above heart level. Minor or Major. It will stop the blood. If not apply a 2nd gauze pad to the cut. If it still doesnt work put pressure on the nearest artery. These should usually stop bleeding.
