I once saw an interview with Priscilla on British TV, the Richard & Judy show. Twice in that interview she spoke of Elvis in the present tense. I have always found it to be more than curious that she would do that.

Well maybe Priscilla knew about it but Lisa Marie was only 9 years old. If Elvis faked his death, most likely people kept it from her until they could be sure that she was old enough to understand and wouldn't accidentally slip and tell someone.
The fact that Lisa Marie was seen and heard by those around Graceland to be excited, joyous,and playful rather than sad, distraught,and upset about the "death" of her father would suggest that Lisa Marie DID know. She was probably told that it was VERY important not to let the "secret" slip or Daddy's life might REALLY be in danger.
That may be true. However, she called Linda Thompson that day and screamed into the telephone "My daddy's dead". She also wouldn't approach the casket to put one of her favorite pieces of jewelry into the casket. That indicates to me that she didn't know, at least not the same day.
We may NEVER know but if you DO grant the death hoax possibility you've got to accept that there was a certain amount of acting on the part of the participants. Vernon would've HAD to look upset and so would Lisa Marie to a degree. At her young age they may not have been able to count on the same kind of bravura performance that Vernon seemed to provide.(He was known to have had an ego himself and may have looked at that as his chance to shine)
I agree with that. However, children are also very resilient. She may have been upset by what she thought she was witnessing. It is very poosible that a few hours later she was playing with her toys. I was 9 years old when a very close aunt of mine passed away. I had seen this aunt everyday of my life. The night my mother told me she had passed away, I cried a little bit, watched t.v., went to sleep and got up the next morning and went to school.

Ok. I need to clarify my previous post. A death certificate is signed by the professional who declares a person as deceased. That is either the doctor or a coroner. What is the name of the person on the death certificate who declared Elvis dead? Did anyone talk to that person to see if he or she actually signed the certificate?
If elvis were in the witness protection program, I would put him in las vegas and give him a job as as an elvis presley impersonator. think about it; it's the only place where he would blend in. Plus, could you imagine the one time he gets some asshole who is like, "that was nothing like the real elvis".

If you look close, you can see a man theat look's a lot like Elvis moving around in the back bedroom. Also notice how tense she would get from time to time, Larry would put her on the spot and she would tense up.

I watched the Priscilla interview from Graceland this past January. I'd heard that she'd referred to him in the present tense before & I wanted to see for myself. Sure enough she couldnt keep from talking about him in the present tense & when Larry asked her what she thinks he WOULD have been like at 74,she said "Elvis is so full of life" or words to that effect.

Well maybe Priscilla knew about it but Lisa Marie was only 9 years old. If Elvis faked his death, most likely people kept it from her until they could be sure that she was old enough to understand and wouldn't accidentally slip and tell someone.

The fact that Lisa Marie was seen and heard by those around Graceland to be excited, joyous,and playful rather than sad, distraught,and upset about the "death" of her father would suggest that Lisa Marie DID know. She was probably told that it was VERY important not to let the "secret" slip or Daddy's life might REALLY be in danger.

That may be true. However, she called Linda Thompson that day and screamed into the telephone "My daddy's dead". She also wouldn't approach the casket to put one of her favorite pieces of jewelry into the casket. That indicates to me that she didn't know, at least not the same day.

We may NEVER know but if you DO grant the death hoax possibility you've got to accept that there was a certain amount of acting on the part of the participants. Vernon would've HAD to look upset and so would Lisa Marie to a degree. At her young age they may not have been able to count on the same kind of bravura performance that Vernon seemed to provide.(He was known to have had an ego himself and may have looked at that as his chance to shine)
If it WAS a hoax then by its nature it was FAKE.

I agree with that. However, children are also very resilient. She may have been upset by what she thought she was witnessing. It is very poosible that a few hours later she was playing with her toys. I was 9 years old when a very close aunt of mine passed away. I had seen this aunt everyday of my life. The night my mother told me she had passed away, I cried a little bit, watched t.v., went to sleep and got up the next morning and went to school.

As an Elvis fan MYSELF it IS possible to love his music and still want to look into all of the HIGHLY suspicious evidence pointing to him faking his death. There is ALOT of things to be explained and the explanations offered by those who for some reason think it IMPOSSIBLE he faked it is sadly lacking in credibility. Ok. I need to clarify my previous post. A death certificate is signed by the professional who declares a person as deceased. That is either the doctor or a coroner. What is the name of the person on the death certificate who declared Elvis dead? Did anyone talk to that person to see if he or she actually signed the certificate?
