@Wheez234 ,,,, hammer de roburt was a man of great intelligence but a self centred controlfreak too who brooked no opposition and ignored the advice of his staff .
that together with the bad advice of some expatriate incompetents he employed is why nauru is where it is now ....lack of leadership from the start followed by corruption . fatso at the end there was a bully too and extorted form the chinese merchants on the island ... all facts well known but folk don't speak about it

Not a Nauruan but its a place that I was born and raised...I am living in Hawaii and I still want to bring my family to see my birth place...the wealth may have gone but the people and the island is still there...so much changes...haven't seen the island for almost 20yrs...thanks for putting it on You-Tube.
