@Engineer5344 You could use a Zimo MX690V DCC decoder. It provides the same technology: a smoke unit control that is sensitive to the power the loco has to apply. Few smoke while standing still, heavy smoke while accelerating or pulling long trains up a grade and something in between on flat area. The smoke unit can be made easily by yourself. Search for "ultimate smoke for the hudson" and watch the result.
