The card he flipped over (5diamonds) wasn't the one he put in the walet "signed queen".. and the magic walet shows a fake image of a five by pressing one of its sides,and goes back to normal when pressing it again. "new cheap gadget"

This is a mediocre performance due to a weak script and poor audience management. Who cares what Randal apparently does when "things go wrong"? Does he think Letterman will actually believe that this is what he does when "things go wrong"? It is an insult to the audience's intelligence because it's not very convincing. Letterman might be a "bad" spectator, but it's no excuse - it's Randal's job to entertain.
